You know you're addicted to RC crawling when.......
yeah it does great running full droop and I redid the shocks in the rear because triangulating them is horrible. Also switching to wraith shocks in the rear and moving the mounts forward a bit on the frame. And I am going to build some sliders and bumpers soon.. Hopefully just haven't had the time. Hahalil too much "FLEX".. or what we non noobs would call "Articulation".. too much will hurt you. thats a known fact but another known fact is that noobs LOVE LOTS of FLEX :ror:... just playin.
rig looks good and you have a good idea of how to setup shocks sounds like. but oil in them is good, you should have lighter fluid not drain them. I run full droop on all my rigs also. internal springs under the piston is good to limit out some of that rear down travel.
have fun with it is most important! it looks really nice! good work!"thumbsup"
keep us posted!
oh and get some nice sliders. i know a guy who makes them!!
thanks a lot! Yeah the triangulated rear shocks looks cool but trust me doesn't work unless your running leafs. With coils seems to work better moved a little forward on the frame and sitting as wide as possible for side hilling. And having just one hole in the rear works fine because of the two up front body doesn't rock at all.Looking great. I love what you did with the rear shocks. Do you feels as if the single body mount is negative in anyway? IE the body rocking back and forth?
I see a truggy coming on.....I just got this for my lux cab! Truck is looking great bro
Okay thanks for the info. I have a tig welder at my house just need to get it ready and I might try it out too. Do y oily u use hollow tubing when you braze?I have experience TIG welding, MIG welding and now brazing. I bought this torch from Home Depot...

It's really simple, you have to put as little amount of flux as you need, heat the steel til it just starts to turn red and dab the solder in. Takes about 10 seconds from start to finish to do a joint. It's a piece of cake!
