Was able to pick up the new proline 2015 toyota tacoma trd pro body and here are a few pics of the build. Used the knightrunner front and rear bumpers, proline bfg km3 tires on amazon wheels. Headlights and tail lights. Rc4wd axial 10ii steel rock sliders, and did a window tint with tamiya smoke color paint. Magnet mounts on front and body clips in bed. Look mini t spring medium in front soft in rear. Definitely took alot of cutting the body to get everything to fit good and snug, but I think it turned out good. Thanks for any comments.

Looks good...tho, I'd worry about cooking your Yota.

As a Toyota-only crawler builder, me likey. It's on the to-buy list also, but just unsure of what chassis I wanna use for it.

Any other plans for it? I like that it has the stock hood scoop since it's licensed (unlike the KR).

As of rite now have to get the rear inner fenders dona and actually add a servo winch. Just added the fairlead today. I don't want to put too much on it and make it cluttered up. Just so you know you will have to cut the front fenders to fit any tire that is not like 1.5s.. mine are 1.9 4.19 so not even big and it has to be heavily trimmed. Mainly the front. And the knightrunner bumpers fit perfect. Mine is the enduro builders kit chassis. First gen kit.

I dig it. Don’t see many 2nd gens!

Thanks man. I just got everything done on it today. I think that's about everything as far as cosmetics that I plan on doing. Finished it off with the bedliner. That really improved the looks. Used the rustoleum truck bed liner and it added alot of detail with the texture.

Looks great![emoji1303]

It looks like it fits the chassis well. Great job on all the details!

I’ve been thinking about picking up this body. The 2nd Gen is my favorite. Maybe because I own an ‘07 DCSB SR5![emoji3]

It does fit well. Just sucks to have to do alot of cutting on a $70 body lol. Proline could have done a few things different that would improve it but over all I like it. Honestly I didn't want a jeep or a first gen toyota as they are so many out there it's old and repetitive. I hope more modern bodys start to be made.
