My turn!!!!

I have been patiently waiting for my chassis to be built and it has its first rod's bent so here we go. There are still a few tabs and other items i requested form Emeryworx to do but i suspect i'll have the chassis in hand in a few weeks.

I am Sooo looking forward to this build and i have been collecting parts and raiding other rigs in the meantime. I am a slow builder but will try to finish as quickly as i can. Credit to all those that came before me and Yes, I humbly borrowed some ideas from pretty much everyone as you will see. Thanks guys.

I am the type of guy that likes to give my real world experience or lack there of :ror:, opinion, help, ideas and tips & tricks all in order to feel like a kid again. I do not get butt hurt or get offended easily. With that said, I hope to receive some constructive criticism that will help me and others enjoy this hobby that much more. I don't do a lot of build threads so my writing and explanations might be a little out there and hard to understand but i will do the best i can and will take pictures as best as i know how.

**** I will not tolerate Cough Twissted Cough Cough suggesting i change the Trans (I already did that) run different axles (I already did that), stretching the chassis (Don;t have the skills) or putting on things that make no sense on MY build ****

** Sorry, don't have a name picked. Open to suggestions. **

Very nice man. Can't wait to see this thing. My only suggestion would be that if you're building something you plan at any time to crawl, don't go with the HH 540 XL. It just gives up too much low speed smoothness. The standard size puller pros still have more than enough torque especially on 3s. All my rigs running the standard size puller pro will still wheely on command and make the slipper clutch sing when bound up.

Thanks Screamer. I hope it turns out as fun as any one of yours. What is that 4 now?:lmao:

My plan is 40/60 Crawl and Go fast. Thanks for the suggestion and experience. I love over powerful go fast 1/8 scale but now may change my mind to what you suggested as i won't be pinned all the time.

Should be coming home to you soon. Just a few more things to do. Looking forward to your bomber thread updates on this EmeryworX chassis!

Looking good Mike, that chassis is Sweet! "thumbsup" Another Bomber thread for me to keep tabs on!

Can't wait. I keep looking at the pics you sent. Thank you again. Got my million PM's this weekend i take it. :lmao:

This is more of a fun pic (See center). I have a few items from SSD and i am very impressed to date with the quality and beefiness. They don't have any stickers for us to show respect and put all over our rigs so maybe they will start adding some to orders for an extra $.25 after they see this.

I truly appreciate that. ALL credit goes to EmeryworX of course. I am just bolting on the best stuff i can afford to compliment the chassis. I was going to buy a RTR when they first came out but i couldn't pass up the opportunity for EmeryworX to build a chassis for me.

I really like that the Bomber is going bizerk with all the different platforms and the awesome RCC vendors making stuff for them. For this one i am trying to stay as original as possible minus the replica chassis of course and WB.

That currie sticker on the SSD is awesome lol. I did see someone who had bought SSD rims and in the picture I saw SSD stickers.

But anyways, that cage with the parts your adding will be a badass rig. Nice work so far.

You got it bud! I agree about this platform, I'm on sensory overload as my wife says. If only the vendors could keep up in production (I missed out on the last run of UCFab trailing arms  but scored a set of Blue Monkeys!)

Very impressive specs. Can't wait to see how this build turns out.

I'd say thanks but a vast majority came from you so thank you. I'm just trying to put the best stuff I can afford on it and that I know works from my experience and others.

I am super excited to get this chassis in hand and do it justice.

Looking amazing so far, can't wait to see it come together.

The shock weights might be a little on the heavy side but that's something you can tune and change easily after running it a bit

I appreciate the comment and me too.

I've never been very good at setting up suspension but that will change with this one. The weights I stole  from bilinvic and until I have a full run weight they are probably to heavy as mentioned. I really look forward to this part of the build.

I'll be watching this build.

I will be interested to see the final weight of this project (and of the IFS Bombers).

Love the Pits. I was thinking about some Flat Irons, but having matching Pits on my YXL and Bomber would be kind of fun.

I'm having a hard time making up my mind on mods for my RR10. I so much bad ass on this forum I keep changing my mind. I've the Delux front truss in the cart all weekend but can't pull the trigger. So many options!

I prefer a slightly firmer suspension, especially the rear shocks. You would think that crawling would require a soft and mushy suspension, but that's not necessarily the case. Overall sprung weight and truck weight have lots to do with setting up the shocks; I am constantly tuning my shocks trying to achieve perfection.
