DIY scale rock crawler track made of foams for Orlandoo 4x4

Hey guy, just wanna share my latest crawler track for micro crawlers made from thrown away foam box. Project started last month dedicated for 1:35 scale and smaller. Currently running an Orlandoo and modified Yokomo nanoqlo on this track. I made the track almost like collapse wall of rubble style terrains with lots of steep climbing angle, turns, switcbacks, drops and other serious axle twisting obstacles to make it more challenging, fun and almost timeless to run around the track. It has caverns, arches, decked climbing steps, narrow path, pot holes and every serious tire gripping situation you can imagine of. It took me about 3 weeks to complete the project with few test drive and foam carving, painted in grey acrylic paint, crumbs of sponges for vegetation, safety nets and other upcoming track ornaments soon. Foamy box size about a meter long fit nicely on any coffee table and easily transport anywhere and very light weight easily hang on any walls. Below are some progress in sequential snapshots.

LED equipped track
I've made few strips of LED to put under the cavern ceiling, arches and other hidden spot around the track make driving in the dark more exciting and adventurous. 8)

Thanks, if you want to find out more which parts lists matches the kit you can find out more at my webpage which i reviewed about the Orlandoo at my webpage here: https://www.supermotoxl.com/designs...ndoo-oh35a01-135-scale-4x4-jeep-micro-crawler

The parts list is located at mid section of the page, you need to scroll down a little. Hope that helps. "thumbsup"

This looks phenomenal! Almost enough to justify buying the truck itself. Something like this in my basement on a sheet of plywood would be killer

The truck worth buying and a track is a must to build for it. All i can say it felt more satisfying to crawl on this track, learned lots of crawling tricks than going outdoors because you're few feet from fridge for a nice cold beer. You can customized the track to your liking. I'm waiting for more Orlandoo's variant to arrived and populate the track. "thumbsup"

Damn that looks great! Nice work.

Thanks :D

Thanks, once you got one of these you're going to love it because it small enough allocate slot of time to enjoy crawling anywhere and detailed enough for scaling. Plus they looks superbly good on desktop. You should check out those CNC's allow axle. "thumbsup"

Btw here are some HD night snapshots during track crawling.

Orlandoo Jeep vs F150
Some fun rock crawling convoy activity with Orlandoo Jeep and F150 truck on my indoor 'rubble wasteland' track. F150 a bit struggle with this track due to longer wheelbase but we'd take it slowly and more time over the obstacles.

Looks awesome, I find another reason the F150 tends to struggle is the weaker servo they tell you to use.
If its modified to use the 2.2G vs the 1.7G servo it helps a fair bit.

Yeah it true 1.7g servo a bit weak which is why i use 2.2g on both truck although 2.2g servo build to fit metal axle due to wider fitting. Works great. "thumbsup"

Enter the Pajero OH32A02
The Pajero OH32A02 was born today with this completed full family of ORLANDO micro crawlers in my hangar.

Test drive the F-150 Orlandoo OH35P01
Testing the performance of the 1st generation 1:35 scale Orlandoo OH35P01 F-150 truck on my Rubble Wasteland track. Longer wheel base chassis but had big turning radius issues, yet cool truck to have. "thumbsup"
