I put what I thought was a low ball bid on this well i won it turns out it's not that great of a deal just a good deal I got it for 140 out the door still damb cheap for a 1/6th scale rtr its basically new open box one of the windshield wipers is broken but other than that there's not a single scratch on it and came in the original box

I haven't put a battery in it yet but I'm sure it works lol

Anyway it
Dident happen without

I'm not sure how much I like them ether I only bought this rig cause it's 1/6 scale and even there there ugly by nature this thing looks good everything is kinda flimsy and is gonna need to be taken apart and glued together and it needs a real role cage the stock show bar won't protect squat
I dought the gear reduction unit will last vary long the driveshafts look like cheap CV style joints I guess I'll see how they hold up and the axles are kinda cheesey some ar44s might go really nice under there maybe trx4 axles but then I would have to link it

I kinda want to keep it stock till proline by the fire then do a full custom build with new axles and transmission 2 peed would be nice
I might upgrade the esc though And use the stock one for a winch controller or something lol

Any way outside pics

Before I run it I'm gonna cut down those lowering blocks I can probably get a 1/4 lift out of it and stay spring under and with some creative fab work I'll bet I can get those leaf brackets nice and smooth so they don't latch on to rocks as It goes over them lol

Since I lost all that bloat hardware I decided to go spring over it was just easyer and makes under the axle nice and clean so this is how it's gonna live for a while only other upgrade would be servo horn but that's about it till after the fire

FMS models do tend to look good. Nice improvements but something tells me this is just the beginning.

I had to get me one of those Lil Jimnys.
Very toy like but Eventually I'll like to make a Golden Nugget out of it.
Like what your doing with yours.
I'll be following your build.

That is soooo cool, you need a trailer for that so you can haul stuff if you go crawling.... 2S or 3S ?

Is this the same dimensions?

That would look swell pulling my 1/6 scale MBT trailer !
But I'm not sure it's worth the price of admission.
Nor if it would even be delivered to my state in one piece.
If at all !?
But I'm tempted.

Meh ! I pulled the trigger on this 1/6 scale MB
Let's hope all is legit !? ;-)

I already have an 30lb. + Axial SCX6.
But this I bought because it's old school with a leaf spring suspension.
But more importantly it matches my 1/6 MBT trailer perfectly and is period correct.

8-31-2023 shipment confirmed "thumbsup"

Aqua dork came in today his legs are to long to fit so he's gonna under go leg shortening surgery and I removed those stupid fins on his arms and legs little paint and some clothes and he be cool again lol anyway

:oops:Lol ...leg surgery
Wonder if I'll have to do that too for my 1/6 MB Jeep driver ?
I'm curious if it has the same RC electronics as the Jimny ?
Oh well the deal cost was cheap from China. Less then 4 bills (shipped).
(Not as good of a deal as ferp420 got though)
Had to give it a shot because of it's old school leaf sprung suspension.
I mostly wanted it because it looks so detailed and I already have the 1/6 scale MBT trailer,
so the combination will be primarily a display queen.
though I'll likely have to drive it at least once ;-)

He has feet again lol he for some reason had extremely long legs

But what ever he fits now lol

I think the Willy's uses alot of the same parts including the electronics and there fine for a shelf queen lol

I'm gonna replace the esc eventually but the he1040s make great winch controllers so I'm keeping the esc for something down the road lol

Any way more free mods the brackets holding the skid plate and the frame to the body were bulky and hung down under the frame creating another snag point so I modified those and put a chamfer on the skid the angle was to sharp and just testing it in the yard on flat ground I already had rock gouges there so hopefully it won't grab rocks anymore lol

But I know we want

Are you going to convert to brushless ?
I think your Jimny is cool to look at.
But doesn't really fit in my garage !? Lol

Aquaman can drive ? I thought he only swam ? Lol
Purdy good surgery on that amputation ! ha ha ha

How good are the plastic works on that Jimny ?
I have to ask because my MB will likely be similar ?!

Why did you re-drill the holes on that skid ?
to change the driveshaft angle ?
