For the past 5 years we have ended the season with a camping fun weekend we call Crawltoberfest. It is open to everyone. This year it will be October 13-15th. It is a chance to get together and just relax and have a great time. It will not be a competition but we will do some awesome scale exploring through Rausch Creek ORP. We will also have some fun Scale and comp crawler courses built to practice on. The park will be charging a fee to enter but camping is free. I hope to see you there. Stay tuned for more details.

My son and I are super excited for this. This will be our first RC event. Any tips for a first-timer? Basically all we have is a truck, a battery and a wall charger. I was going to at least get some more batteries and some backup electronics.

comfortable walking shoes, water and trail snacks are a good thing to have.

Any electric around to charge batteries?

We will not have use of the pavilion but there will be several guys with generators and chargers. If anyone has an ezup please bring it along. we have 2 but more would be better.

Let me know if another genny is needed, I have a portable albeit larger one that I can bring along.

Here are the Park Fees for CRAWLTOBERFEST.
Park Members would pay $7 each day. Non-members $15 first day, $7 subsequent days. Children under 15 free.

Everyone that attended the NENC and filled out the info sheet for Rausch is a member and only have to pay the $7 per day.

Almost time, hope to see you at Rausch Creek OPR. I should be up there after work around 6pm on Friday. There is no schedule of events it is a time to get together and have a chill time. Tentative plans are night run on Friday, then chill by the fire. Saturday some Comp crawler action in the late morning. Test and tune and some fun courses then lunch. Later a scale overland run through the park. Dinner and then night run. Sunday is whatever you want to do.

Almost all packed, provisions purchased. Can't wait to head out after work. I will be bringing my Scalers, Pro and Sporty. Leaving my mini and super at home.
