colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

I think I broke my Lipo. it seems like it's swollen a little, and I'm guessing that means I can't use it. So there is a good chance I won't be able to crawl for a while.
I guess that's what I get for buying a $110 race ready lipo instead of a cheapo $35 to bash.

A lot of lipos swell up just a little through time. Just be careful if you charge it up again. Make sure you use a lipo sack and charge it slow like on 1 amp. You will know if you puff a battery beyond use as it will swell up and usually break the case open. CY has a couple packs he has been using that are slightly puffed and they still work great.

Here's some pics of the custom buggy with flipped radius arm setup and portal axles.

Ya i have a few packs that are so puffy you can hardly push down on them and they almost roll. I'm still using two of them the other 2 have been condemned to testing. I have left one in the rain sun soon snow and haven't had a problem with it. The other one was repeatedly dropped and finally shot multiple times with a Pellet gun. The 3 Shot in the side finally made it smoke lol

Well thanks for the assurance, it's nice to know. I'm kind of surprised I haven't been able to reach anybody for support from the maker. I did give it about a third of a recharge, and it didn't puff up any more, and it is only slightly puffy.

Just called the park. It's a 20$ entry fee for 4x4's. They also said there is is stuff for nearly stock rigs to higly modified ones.

Sounds pretty awesome!

I've been out there quite a few times for rock races, 1:1 wheelin', and racing with CORCS (hare scrambles). Ray Mandell (owner) has done quite a few upgrades recently, mostly for dirt bikes though. The wheelin' out there is so-so. I guess it's kinda fun to play at a place that's close to the Springs. I would say it's pretty easy wheelin' for most parts of the park, but then again I got hung up pretty bad on a small rock section when my front tire slid off the rock and I was wedged front and rear...
