My plans for crawling or even taking my quadrant out are out the window for the time being. My dodge is fighting with me while I try to install a new transmission and the rommy isn't much help...so I can only hope this week goes by quicker than it did last week.... >___>

I am super new to RC crawling, but it is awesome to see there is such a big following in CO I have already been modding my LNC and built a mini rock course in my bedroom, lol. If I can make it up to Garden of The Gods where do you guys normally crawl at?

Dude.. start brazing them for better strength, perfect it for the scx and wraith and throw a black powder coat on it. And ill bet you could get 40 to 50 bucks for them if not more.

Yeah that was my original plan, but my oxy acetylene set up is in Cali and i couldnt get the metal hot enough with propane to braze.

I thought about map gas but i already had everything for soldering. its proved to be plenty strong. took a few hard rolls at pp and it held up great.

Im down to explore garden of the gods, never been.

Yea for now. I like how tall the stocks are and I like how sticky the prolines are. Probably gonna get another set of beads so I can switch back and forth

Rewired the wraith, added a bec, bound to my dx3e, picked up a 4000mah 3 cell, added full vanquish links, took slop out of front axle and shoed her up with pit bulls new rock beast II....

Ready for some runs boys.

Also got the twin hammers dialed in...

Looking to head out Thurs or Friday and again this weekend. Probably Palmer this week and garden on the weekend.
