colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Im finally done hacking on mine. just got it to fit, if i mess with it too much more then its gonna look worse than what it is now. i just gotta finish painting it and then ill be done.

well im done for now and ready to hit some trails. got 2.2 superswampers. thats the only "mod" ive done. everything else is stock. just some re-arrangeing of the electronics. added a 2s lipo for the winch. and a 3000mah battery on the backend for some rear weight and longer run times. so far 3 full time batteries and it still weighs less than 8pounds. that winch will still pull it straight off the ground. and barely any grunting when i use the pulley.

i would post some pictures i have but i dont know how. guess youll have to see it this friday or weekend.

Jason, when are you gonna come crawl dammit?!

I have been freaking busy as hell this past couple weeks. I got roped into a couple projects for my fiancee's family but after sunday I should be done with that. I am also a math tutor with CTU but thats only in the week but it makes for some real busy weekends. But this will calm down very soon

im just gonna put the stock axial servo on there. got a metal servo horn for it. so far its held up through allot of bashing. so im gonna use it till it burns up. just dont have the cash for a good servo yet.

So i was doing some thinking over the weekend and came up with a good idea for an event. at palmer park pl9 where we usually run, i was thinking about doing a team based "race". time oriented of course. i was thinking making a big loop of the parking area through the rocks and trails. and going up to the "cliff" portion and down the bike trail a little then going literally down the rocky area and back around to where the cars park. this would make a big loop of the area. the teams would be of 2-3 trucks. requirements would be 1 team member with a rope of some sort or even a winch. winching or pulling would be mandatory up the "cliff". since it is impossible to make it up alone. 1 car would be physically placed on the top and winch or pull the other trucks up the edge. its hard to explain in writing. but i think it would be awesome!. 1 team at a time so everyone can watch or 1 team at a time at minute intervals or something. doesnt matter to me.

What are your guys's thoughts on it?

well the more people the better. so spread the word!. i cant find a good map of the park and i cant figure out hor to mark the route and post it up here. i guess its going to be a suprise.

ok, this coming up sunday at 11am sharp!. ill be there setting up and getting ready around 1030. that means if your going to run then be there by 1030 so we can get the track setup and eveyone knows where to go if we choose to a a start time interval. if there is a time complication then let me know. time is not a issue. but 11 sounds good to me cause its not too early or late and the heat isnt bad for the cars. the plan i have in mind seems awesome. but then again its just me. lol
