Lone Wolf and I have done a bit of work out at HOON470 and the track is just about ready for saturday.

For those that need it

Directions to HOON470 (Morrison, Colorado)

C-470 and Morrison Road, head west on Morrison road a couple hundred feet, turn left on Soda Lakes road (right across the street from the Conoco). Park in the small dirt pull off on top of the hill (or the bigger pull off at the base of the hill). From the top of the hill walk east down the dirt path following the switch back, you will see the track in the meadow just past the massive dirt jumps.

It might be a little damp on saturday, but I plan to go out there today and clean the track off so it shouldn't be too bad.

It has probably already been said, but what time for practice, race time?

Race starts at 10:00am, so anytime before then to get your practice in. I will probably be there around 9:00am to make sure the track is in order and I get my wagon full of stuff down there.

Do we need any track maintenance equipment?

For this saturday we should be good. I think in the next month we are going to do some track maintenance and additions if you want to bring some tools out for that. "thumbsup"

I went down to the track today and most of the track had already melted off. I shoveled the rest of the snow off and the track should be good for a "tacky" race on saturday. As long as the weather stays decent between now and race time it might even be dry down there.

But just incase make sure you have some mud protection on your cars. :ror:

I will check the track out again tomorrow sometime and give you guys a final update on the conditions.

The track is in great shape. And even some of it is dry! There is no standing water and in the worst spots it is only tacky.

Once again 10 am start and show up anytime before that if you want to get some practice in.

Here are some photos of the track from today.

I am disappointed to say I didn't get my new to me Trophy Truck finished for this race. I was just to busy this week to make time and I also forgot about a wedding I must attend in the afternoon.

I look forward to meeting you guys out there in the near future for some track maintenance and practice. Plus we will most likely hang out at Catoland this summer too.

Have fun fellas,
Stew

Great day today, it's a shame more people don't come out cuz that was fun. Lots of smack talk and horseplay, just like it should be. Not to mention some of the best driving I've ever done. Watch out for next next season y'all.

Great times today guys! Thanks for having me & my munchkin, sorry she didn't feel well and I had to bail early :(

Either way, I can't wait for the next season!

A little power upgrade on the TT!! Castle SCT with 3800!!

I got that same combo. Have you run it as shown in the pic? I'm having trouble finding info on the esc, as far as which ports are red, black and white. I smoked a novak ballistic with a mamba max pro by getting sloppy and crossing a,b, and c. Now I'm skeered. I've been searching the electronics section and have an email to castle support but it's saturday and I'm impatient, thanks.
