Colorado Rally Championship 2012

i looked at that body. dont like the fake decals on it. i was looking at the non painted focus they have i think its a 190mm. but i just saw you said the car is a 200mm. most likely ill just end up making an older body style subaru rally car. i want to do a custom livery for rally racing if im gonna be competing. probably gonna design something like the colors and logo of the rally team we have for SCCA Rally cross.

also i did 2 posts earlier today and they never showed up. is there anything wrong with this forum or maybe they were censored for some odd reason? just curious.

If you mean post count, its posts outside of your local thread...otherwise they may be getting approved since you have a low post count

I think I met you out at Core and the truck driving school in 2010. I was in an M2 Dodge Neon.

i remember that car! core is a blast. im supposed to go there once weather gets better for some practice in the EVO. will be my first try at turbo awd in rallycross.

would you guys recommend a brushless motor for rally? my brushed motor seemed pretty good but if everyone is gonna be running brushless i feel like ill have a disadvantage. also do you recommend taking water proofing precautions? just in case we hit snow or mud. and for this first event will it be a chasing rally or a grid rally?

imho....

run your brushless system...yes waterproof i recommend all the dirt shields and water proofing you can do....

Most of the rallys will be single position driving. And as Van said some type of dirt/snow/mud shield will be a really really good idea.

awesome thanks guys.. luckily i have a spare Traxxas VXL system laying around with a traxxas waterproof servo.. should be good for some rally. just gotta balloon my receiver and im good to go!
