Colorado Rally Championship 2012

Well, I'll throw my hat in the ring. I traded my MRC for a fully water proofed DF03RA! I've never rallied before but I'll be there next Saturday. Is this like the video where the guys run after their cars? Looks like good exercise :for:

I'll take number 781.

Nope this is single position driving on backyard courses. This is more a Rally X style of driving taking place on closed circuits. Its a blast, the courses have tight turns and most are only 24-36" wide. Two cars at a time in a double elimination format and it is a pretty eventful.

Better getting practicing Wes."thumbsup"

Yeah I know. I was never great driving on tracks but I'll try my hand at this. Do I need a 190 or 200 MM body for my car? Or will either one fit?

either will "fit" bu a 190 is the proper body for the df03ra.. but with a wider offset rim or hub like turtle the 200 are ok... but for fitment with all stockish parts the 190 is more proper

Ty,

I will take 777.

Numbers are being cut .....

Even so a stock DF03ra is only 185mm (give or take 1 or 2mm) wide, to make a 200mm body look right you need an additional 15mm of offset, I don't know any wheels that will do that.

ive got some 12mm offsett wheels..add that to a full size trx hex....but thats getting ridiculous lol...anyways those are drift wheels...we have made it look pretty good their...but prob not anywhere near strong enough for rally.....190 is the way to go...

and i wasnt trying to step on your answer...your post wasnt up when i started to type my post...we are saying the same thing anyways lol....

that would be quite awesome! i still would like to get a WRC body. preferably the Ford Focus WRC Body. ill be perfecting my chassis hopefully after i pick it up this sunday! gotta find some places here in colorado springs to practice!!

i saw that but i really dont like the fake decals and stuff. so i was gonna get this body
R2hobbies.com - 1/10 Ford Focus PC Transparent 190mm RC Car Body, 190mm, rcvp334310066
and then do my scca rallycross team logos on it and design my own livery. should be fun. im gonna do an order next pay day on R2 of some wheels and that body then order a set of tamiya rally tires of tower.
