TURTLE
Gettin’ back on the horse
What a great turn out! Looks like a good track you put together on short notice. Is this track just to keep you guys out of the weather? I know you guys usually race out doors. You all in Colorado really know how put on a great gtg. Wish I could convince the ol lady to move out there. Been out there many times some for work and some for play, what a great place to live."thumbsup"
Actually we planned on wednesday to do it inside the warehouse. A little tricky on our part. Generally we would run in the conditions, but we had the opportunity to run inside, one we probably wouldn't get again so we took it. Thanks man we try to have fun. "thumbsup" We are pretty lucky out here lots of great places to play.
Sorry I missed out on the fun. Last I heard you guys were running outside and I'm done with the snow and mud until I get my junk water-proofed. Looks like either a good turnout or Ty brought his complete arsenal
Yeah we didn't want to advertise this being indoors, we didn't want 30 guys there just because it was indoors. We wanted the guys to come out who embodied the spirit of rally, ready to thrash there stuff out doors. You need to put a little trust in us, we are not out to torture everyone with the cold and bad weather... If we can help it.
The other issue too was Rodney was responsible for this place and having tons of people there would have been a bit stressful, we were worried about low numbers, but we really didn't have the option to make this a high profile event.
Even so we still had 11 trophy trucks and 9 rally cars. Not bad for a snowy cold day.
As far as traction it was pretty slim, besides some carpet laid down in one spot. Definitely different from the norm though, it was a fun change of pace.
You guys got about a month to get ready for the next one. If the snow ever melts off we will do some more practice days out at HOON 470.
