haha thats good like a kid in a candy store.

but i do have to wait to check out whats in the classifieds. if i had the extra cash i would just buy from the vendors.

also one more question how do i know my sign up date i think im pretty close but not sure.

i will say that i have been doing quiet a bit of research on here and found some old friends that i didnt even know were into crawling. so i guess it pays off

@gadgetguy -- they're at the bottom of the front forum page. you have been a member since 8-5-10, so you should be able to see them.

Very bottom of the main forum page, just below the regional forums.

That is assuming that your join date was early in August, and you have had enough time for the last few posts to register with the forum software (you might have to wait overnight).

I can understand the reasoning behind the 30/30 rule. However, not allowing noobies to even SEE the classifieds is kind of ridiculous. Not being able to post would be a more suitable solution in my opinion. Noobs are looking for a good buy to either jump into the fire or find parts for their rig. Cruising the classifieds is just another learning tool in a way. How can noobies have useful posts if they're noobies? They're here to learn, and pick up knowledge on this stuff. Searching will yield a lot of info, and....it's already been covered with really no need to post, since it's already been covered.

I've had a lot of questions that I've already answered by searching.

Anywho......JMHO.

I'll second that.. Im 31 posts down, but 19 days away.. Lookin for a deal to get into a honcho but I get the privilege of waiting almost 3 more weeks just to see if a deal exists on one.. will I wait? Nope, no chance in hell..

Will I hang around here? Yeh, most likely.. it seems a good place, atmosphere and info..

Will I buy a star? Just to get into classifieds early? No, again no chance in hell.. Will I buy one down the road? Donno, it could happen..
