Like Curcal said you want to set everything up then mark with a sharpie the locations of everything before you unbolt your links and shocks etc. to be sure nothing moved before you drill and screw. These are the best axles money can buy and once you get everything properly set up you won't ever really have to worry about them. I just took my time in set up and kept looking at other threads with the axles especially Dlux Berg Build to make sure it all looked right. The servo mount does screw right into the axle tube, just be very careful when you do it and make sure the axle is removed before drilling and tapping. With th servo mount I drilled and tapped one hole and put the screw in to hold in place and that made it much easier to drill the other holes."thumbsup"

no, they are not tapped yet...thanks Curcal "thumbsup" You running Bergs?

Absolutely! I have been running a set of these for almost 2 years now (maybe more). I'll have to check my build thread. I definitely have more than a full comp season on them.

that's exactly what I was thinking...nice to know I was on track. Hate to think I need to drill these nice tubes though. Seems like all this is a tight fit, I mean motor and servo and battery all in one place. I suppose it all fits though.
Thanks Blandon "thumbsup"

Wait until you try fit a battery to the dlux plate with the riddler chassis.
I have my electrics under my chassis shock and they hang out a little, not much room between elecs and battery

I'm not far from going and picking up my new dual shock set up, this should give me some room

I made an axle mount battery tray and it works awesome. I didn't really care for the battery behind the axle.

I liked your idea a lot
As filo mentioned, I've been scratching my head over the battery and electronics location.

I guess it's time to start a Berg thread huh, pretty much decided to switch axles. These are too nice ....time to become a Bergie....

Read your thread Blandon...nice "
"thumbsup". Do you know how much weight you put on the front axle? Seems like a lot.

Time to go read Curcal's thread now
