Chevotafun's Custom Tundra Truggy

I've seen a few guys run a really small shim on the outside of the diff but mine didn't need one. I believe Billinvic states the part number in his thread.

I've helped build 2 with a friend. The stock axles didn't need shims on one build, the curries that went on the other build needed to be shimmed....

Give me a few and I'll get into the workshop to check for ya

So here's what I use. Don't have an actual size but have a part number for you.

As you can see they're traxxas shims.

No problem. I've only needed to use 1 shim on the outside of the housing to get a buttery smooth mesh. I've used these shims on my yeti with the VP V2 housing, my bomber, my scx10, and 1 of the scx2's. All of them are running MIP driveshafts except for the scx2. Should definitely do the trick for you

Got the beast out for a trail run last night, All in all i was super happy with how she did for her first run. Need to do alittle rear shock tuning and then she should be good to go "thumbsup"

Only got one picture last night tho

Well she had her first comp yesterday and all in all she did well, Pulled out 4th place. Pretty happy with that since the truck was basiclly untested. She needs some shock work still. Had to steal the rims and tire from my other C2 since my order didn't show up in time for the weekend comp.
I will say i and very impressed on the the steering of the SCX-2 diff much better than the version 1 scx10 diff. Clearance was kill as well, She climbs very nice. Hopefully people got some picture of her at the comp. She took a good beating yesterday and took it all and keep on going.

Here is acouple picture's before i left for the comp.
