Spidernad, the rear view mirrors and windshield wipers are made by "ABC" company.. they have some neat stuff, the wipers came with exhaust pipes and license plate holders.

ABC Hobby MIRROR SET / CHROME (chrome mirrors)

ABC Hobby MIRROR SET / BLACK (black mirrors)

ABC Hobby MUFFLER / WIPER SET / CHROME (chrome wipers/muffler)

ABC Hobby MUFFLER / WIPER SET / BLACK (black wipers/muffler)

ABC has some really neat stuff. They have a working windshield wiper set that I've been thinking of installing and running off channel 5. So I'd have lights, dome lights, directionals and wipers all controlled from my remote.

Anyway, the mirrors posted are hollow underneath, I was bumbed when i saw that, bit I hardly ever notice now.

Oh,RPP Hobby, sure I've ordered from them, good company.

I will definitely order a set, thanks for the info and links.

Those are cool, i have a dingo also, they seem to be a lil shorter than the Honcho. I like the wheel base of the Dingo though, how about you? Ever go out with Honchos and cant seem to wheel up stuff they can?

I started with a honcho and eventually shortened my wheelbase to fit the cherokee body (11.8ish) and i did find it to be much more capable. That is, before i put all the "stock" mods on it. The honcho body on the dingo wheelbase actually looks pretty good too. So ill most likely keep it like it is now, even if i decide to switch bodies and go bashing.

I ended up starting a thread for my build and model. I put more pictures up if your intrested. I appreciate your help man, couldn't have done it otherwise. Also, I'm sorry if I ko d of hijacked your thread .. It has so much info for what we are doing, I believe it will be valuable for many people building there "stock" Cherokees.

To answer some questions I've had about the shocks I used in this build, The Scale 100mm White Shocks with Internal Springs from RC4WD were WAY too stiff with the stock springs. They had a 50% softer spring that you could buy (to fix there problem for them) and then they worked great.

Unfortunately the soft springs are discontinued and the shocks will be soon too, but no worries, they have a better one now, it's more scale and already has a soft spring, its called "The Ultimate Scale Shocks", they come in different lengths and a couple colors. I have some already that I'm using on my Grand Cherokee build and I like them. Just remember though, like the discontinued ones, they don't use oil. (except for a few drops to keep them from wearing)

i like the mud thrashers and slingers but I'm leaning towards thrashers because they look a little more scale. how do they work out for you?

Way to go man!

The body is looking Great!

The mud thrashers are working great and fit with no body mods.

Re: Cherokee build - New Video

New Video!

I did a video on the latest mod of the Cherokee.

It's a 2WD /4WD selectable transmission upgrade.
