I'm looking to get a cheap crawler (suggested over a MT on other forum) to pull a trailer with about 12lbs max of weight. It will be start / stop slow speed pulling in the grass / sand / woods. Woods being maintained areas, not out in the general woods.

I really don't want to spend more than $200 on it RTR and I want something with available replacement parts as we all know RC stuff breaks (I bash with a buggy).

I'm thinking the Redcat Everest 10 atm.

Based on your cost, use and parts availalbe the Redcat Everest 10 is probably your best bet.

Or even a used SCX10. Parts will be more common than even the Redcat

A new red cat can be gotten cheap, and get a scx10 chassis and your golden. Plus you can use axial parts to upgrade the axles with little to no modifying. The transmission share to mount holes the same the other two would need the skid slotted or redrilled. Plus metal links stock.

Here is my everest 10 rear axle full of axial parts. I did have to trim some posts off the axle but your going to tow and not crawl with it so really no problem with it.
