For under half the price of any known brand making these gears. I’m a little hesitant. What’s your thoughts?

Any idea why no one has made UD/OD portal gears for this platform?

I’ve always wanted to put ud/od gears in my rig but couldn’t pull the trigger. $80 for the set is a bit steep.

Considering Traxxas makes a set at just double the price. I can't see a reason to even entertain the idea of using knock off no-name ones.

Half the price - Double the problems. That's usually the outcome that I have found with a lot of the no-name parts.

The combo set is $27 but the reviews are hit and miss on them working properly. 1 video they sound awful.

I haven’t been able to find a video of them. I did notice that the cheap versions are helical gear and the Traxxas version is straight cut though. Guess one day I’ll have to bite the bullet and get a set from a reputable company.
