Central Ohio Crawlers 2.2 Spring/Summer Point Series 2010

choices

I don't know if we can only go with one shirt and ink color. I'll have to check with Tom.
I am partial to the yellow on black,. I think it realy pops.
Here arer a few combo's I thought would look best. I did not do a white background because white shirts are never white again due to the dirt and mud we play in.

Hey guys,
If anyone else has any design ideas for the tshirt I could use a hand.I think the back of the shirt is finished but we could use an image on the front pocket. If nothing else we could use the round image I first posted.

I would like to exclude "summer point series" from the rear.
I think stylisticly it may be better to have the point series verbage on the front .
maybe a outline of the state with C.O.C. in a triangular patern inside?...just a thought. maybe have the series info around this image?

If anyone would like to put together any images please post it up asap. I will try to keep trying as well

A few things to think about before next tues.

I did not realize that one of the comps would fall on Memorial weekend.
May 30th-Acadamy Park (Columbus/ Bexley) we will prob vote on moving this back to the following Sun. to allow for family functions.

Also now that we are a club and voting, we need to have a clear way to determine membership. I know we said it should be only those who assisted in judging spotting courses etc that should be able to vote. But, not all who will be present at these votes are aware of this..{newbs}
with our growing turn outs we should find a way to make a distinct line so as not to seem rude. I could be overthinking but I would like to address this on tues.:)

Couple of thoughts, and I apologize, we were not at the club vote that week so I'm going on what was told to me after wards:

1. If the club is not charging membership fees, than you need to establish some core, attainable requirements for membership (number of weeks attended, volunteering, etc...) then grandfather those in who meet these and work on getting the "newbs" in.

2. Voting - Can I suggest a more "encompassing" way to vote than on a random Tuesday when something comes up. This week, Cory, Pete, Gabe, and others were not there. The day you voted on a club, Nathan and I had no idea it was happening. Once you determine who is a member, would it not be possible for an officer to collect votes in person on Tuesdays, or via phone / email from non-present members? An issue could be posted, then leave a week open to get a vote in.

The timeline that was established and communicated was that any topic or event that needed discussed and or voted on would be handled on the 1st Tuesday of each month. These motions will be voted on by all of those present that day and interested in participating. Having this established lets everyone who would like an opinion know when the "important" meetings will be held and can make the effort to be present.

If you are not present, you do not get a vote. This is the current way it is set up, but does not have to be the final word. Anyone can motion anything at these meetings, and if it receives a second, it will be discussed and voted on.
