Central Ohio Crawlers 2.2 Spring/Summer Point Series 2010

seeing as i won't be able to join you all for the first comp (and possibly the series) i would like to wish you gentlemen crawlers good luck!. . . oh and you too cory better bring some duct tape and bubble gum you're bound to break something :lmao:
see ya all tuesday if your out

One Down Six To Go

Thank you to all of you who made it out for our first series comp. For missing as many regulars as we were we still had a fair turn out with a total of 9 today. Of those 9, four have paid up for the $25 buy in (Cory, Bob, Paul, and Todd) That buy in gives you credit for four more comps, the shirt and the food at the end"thumbsup"

As far as the shirts go, Tom will need your sizes. I am working on a layout and will try to run it by y'all on Tues.

The courses were a bit on the rough side today but fun none the less. Going back to the national scoring made a shocking difference in the end results.
We had a 3 way tie for 6th place between Dennie, Paul and Pete. All had the same score on course 2 so we refered to course one where Dennie had a 32 against Pete and Paul's 38's. Pete chose to give Paul 7th place rather than a crawl off.
Do to this we will be addressing such issues at the next club meeting. Things went smooth today (thanx Pete) but a system to resolve such matters in the future will be needed. Be ready to voice your opinion at the boulder House on the first Tues. of May:)
All and all there was some great driving and I am looking forward to the next one.

I am still in awe of Todd's ability to save his face from almost certain disfiguration while trying to make it into the blooper reel.

Again, It was fun and I hope to see all of you who were there today and all of you who could not be at the next event.

Todd had the save of the day for sure.

And to compliment that, a win. "thumbsup"

I am hoping to make out and comp with you guys sometime. I think I will be able to make it to the next one. I am about 2 hrs. away from columbus.I have been looking for a reason for a columbus road trip so I can stop by a City BBQ,and I can't think of a better reason than a comp!"thumbsup" Hope to see you guys soon.

More the merrier! Usually. Party!

I tend to go back and review my performances the next day, day dreaming at work. I've got to stop hitting gates, that was my conclusion for the day. :ror:

Two totally worthless, easy gates I got on the last course would have bumped me up to second overall, gate one and gate ten. Course two killed me dead in my tracks, racking up 38 points on one gate, that sweet gate 8. Then just crap driving and failing on a gate 5 on the first course.

First course was okay, had to take a repair to spin the driveshaft to get the motor to work again, that ten point difference would have got me through five, then the rest was pretty easy actually.

Great job Todd"thumbsup"

EeePee, I take it you got a 28 on the last course:roll:

Figures:mrgreen:

Had a great time fellows. The last two courses were great, especially the very last.

Two breakdowns, my own fault, at least I get two throw aways;-)
