Talk about big systems back in the day! The last comp car I had was a 92(?) Astro. 2 REMT 18's (for sale PM me) in a 40 cubic foot enclosure that had 4" thick concrete walls! It had over 1500lbs of concrete in the box! Each woofer was powered by 2 Kicker KX2500d's. That's over 5K per woofer! That tuned to 63hz was quite loud!
Then, I build a extreme Astro that was all concrete. It had 5 15's in a 4th order bandpass. It was ran off ONE Memphis 5K amp. The window in the front was 2" thick lexan and was chained to the floor! The doors were held shut with a 2" wide ratchet strap!
Car audio was my life for 10 years. After many trophies and titles, I gave it up!?!? Don't know why really. So, Jason,if you need some help, PM me or feel free to email me!
