I want to lose some weight, what did you guys do to drop some weight on the Capra. I'm ready to go with my Dremel tool."thumbsup"

Lightest option would probably be going with a GSpeed or TGH chassis, Capra axles and a lexan body. I’m planning on building one of those with some sore AR45 portals.

If you want to keep the cage, there is limited trimming on the cage itself that would save meaningful weight and maintain strength. Losing the dig switching to a standard 3 gear transmission would be good savings. Could also look at titanium links to save some weight.

On my Capra, I focused less on reducing weight and more on lowering the CG and adjusting front bias. I have Vanquish wheels and portal weights. I’m collecting parts to switch it to 4WS, so I may add some brass knuckles in the front to balance the weight there and keep the CG low once the rear servo is in place.
