Here is the gens ace adventure 4300mah. Its crammed down there, but its not really a bad fit. 3s and lots of mah's. :)

These from hobbywing are very nice.... I also have a gensace 4300.. Very tight fit. Need to make a strap on the battery to pull it out. But works great..

Not sure of run time yet, but the gens ace 2s 3500mah 60c lcg pack is a pretty nice fit. They’re $34 on Amazon right now.
Size comparison next to a turnigy pack that’s the same size as the reedy Wolfpack 2s 3000mah
It will fit nicer once I build my low profile harness for it.

To those of you running 3S, what kind of run times are you getting with whatever mAh you're running? I've only ever ran 2S in my crawlers, but I'm going to need to buy purpose bought batteries for the Capra kit I just bought.

I’m running some goldblat 1500mah 3s batteries in my Capra with a mamba x and 1900kv slate and get an hour to drain them to 3.8

Best,

You guys all run 3 cell? I’ve tried both 2 and 3s and aside from flat ground power and speed, I have noticed a difference while crawling. 2s seems to be plenty. Now I’m running 2s 4800mah 21700 cells. Going to try 2200mah 3s 18500 cells.

I don't think any of us here are using 21700/18500 cell batteries - you're using the flashlight/vape mod cells, right?

We use packs designed for RC, they tend to be rectangular packs made up of wrapped thin and flat cells.

Most RC crawler battery trays are designed for this type.

Typically something like this:

I do have some of those lipos. I’m getting a bit more run time with these tho in a smaller package. The 21700 have even more capacity but bigger size. These are 2200mah.

That’s a 3s I made today. I’ve been running 2s 21700s before.
Here’s the 21700 2s in action
