Can you use JB weld to construct a tube frame?

I've used jb-weld on shock hoops before. It held up just fine when wheeling but it snapped when i dropped it down the steps. It wasn't a soft tumble either......
I also used it on my Rubiclod to weld the control arm brackets to the frame. Hasn't broke to this day. It was aluminum brackets on copper square tubing.

i'm currently building more shock hoops and some other tubing items for my rubiclod using jb-weld. The stuff is great.

I tried it and it failed much much worse than I thought it would. I spent nearly 5 hours building this (it was my first attempt ever at building a tube chassis) including measuring, cutting, filing, and JB Welding - in two separate stages. So 20 hours curing time for each cycle, and I made sure to mix the proportions correctly, rought up and clean each surface well, duck-bill the rods for a clean fit, and to use enough JB Weld. Keep in mind this is 1/4" solid aluminum rod.
WARNING! The F-bomb was dropped (objectively) in the following video:

Stress test of JB Weld on Tube Chassis - YouTube

I also made a "T" using 3/16" uncoated steel brakeline, using the same diligence as noted above, with the same effect. I didn't drop it though. I only bent it, and it broke apart as if it was held together with hot glue.

There are many people who swear by it, but I think the surface areas we deal with in the RC world are simply too small. :(

I'm also going to post this up in a few other threads asking about JB Weld, because I saw many people asking about it, and many opinions given, but no evidence showing how well it sucked.
Edit: Oops except for you above me here!
