When the trx6 came out it caught my interest but for some reason I could never pull the trigger, that is until a dead trx4 project started begging me to finish it. Little does it know what’s coming for it…..

Now with it being in this section I am turning it into a 6x6! It will be my third one but hopefully first that I actually finish……. Anyways it’s going to be a fairly basic build.

The trx4 donor already has upgraded axles with a locked rear and selectable front, so it’s already built. The chassis is being swapped out for stock trx6 rails and whatever plastic parts are also needed. For links I decided to just order a link kit from club5 so I don’t have to try and figure out what individual links I need.

Middle axle is coming from feebay with the rear output and extra diff cover and bearings on the way as well. Only thing drivetrain wise I should need is a rear most driveshaft.

Body is going to be the exciting part (if you consider a stock body exciting) however I’m going the clear route so my trx6 isn’t like every other one. There will also be some other extra surprises from club5 as well

Wheels, tires and electronics are yet to be determined.

Will post pics as soon as the build starts

I'll bet most of the parts from a TRX6 fit. Just need a 6x6 chassis. Seems like I saw G-Speed was making one, but it was a while ago and it might have been another company

Any updates to this post?

Do you have a link to the middle axle?

Finally started on the build last night and was able to get most of the chassis assembled. All I need to get is a front wheel well set and the chassis will be done. Axles won’t be too far behind as I just need some hardware to mount the rear axle links and the lower link mounts on the axle. Then rebuild all of the shocks and assemble.

Yes trx6 parts fit this as I am using a trx6 chassis and the trx6 body. There are multiple upgrades on it, will get to those when I can post them.
