Melon's widened the gap on her 1st place lead at the last NWITTC comp to 27 points (was up by 3 points after the first comp)... we just gotta keep it up!

Yesterday went better than expected!
There were only 2 courses set up, a 47 gate course (with 20 min time limit) and a crazy 3 gate course where you had to pull a loaded trailer up this steep hill, around the uneven top and down the other side.

Melon's got a -96 for the day! (I think, or -94. 2nd place was -60 and 3rd -40)
I think Melons 1st place seat is a lock for the series... unless I can't make a comp or something goes horribly wrong.

She's feeling dialed in... I'm looking forward to traveling to Ohio for the GURU Super Shafty comp/TTC in July and The RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge this August in PA!

Yeah, it's bad ass!
It has a Cummins Diesel in it and riding on 1 ton axles.

Yeah, I've tried to document everything from a noob buying his first used crawler (practically first hobby grade rc) all the way to now... it's been a fun journey. "thumbsup"

I actually really enjoy looking back once in a while at all the setups, experiments and comps.

Melons competed in the 2nd to last NWITTC comp for the season yesterday... I was pretty happy with my runs, made a couple mistakes but only one really bothered me... I slid into a gate costing me 10 points.
I ended up in 2nd place for the comp (3 points behind 1st).
But, Melons' first place spot for the season should be a lock.
She's was ahead by -180 points! (Before yesterdays comp Melons was at -229, 2nd place -49 and 3rd place at -43.

Just read this thread all the way through. Great documentation of a great project! Well done. Just one question, what body is the one that you're using now? It doesn't look like the Proline Slash Bug body.
