Have they proven themselves yet? They are still a fledgling brand at best.

I haven't used any of their stuff yet and I don't personally know anyone that has so I can't say they are good or just another integy knockoff made of alumargerine like the vast majority of them.

But it is the way a lot of people on this site seem to think. That is unless it's one of the popular brands approved by the RCC clique. Then it's proclaimed the most awesome thing invented before anybody even tries it.

Yes, saying something is probably junk is different than saying something is definitely junk. But why lump something into that category without trying it? Why not give something a fair chance before bashing it? And if the person doesn't want to give something a fair chance, just don't comment on it. That's the entire point. And on the other hand, people shouldn't praise a product just because it's brand X without even trying it.

Integy isn't on the same level as VP. Cast vs machined is never an equal match up. I never claimed that they are the same and the person that did isn't knowledgeable on the subject.

I just made a comment that it's not unreasonable for people to be stereotypically against a chinese brand until they're proven because they've been burned many times before.

I'm assuming you've used a stove top, and have been burned at least once by the red hot element.

What if you're at someone else's house. And you see this stove looking appliance in the kitchen. But when you turn it on, the element glows blue. Are you going to touch it to see if it's hot or cold? Or are you going to assume it's hot till proven otherwise?

There's a fair number of chinese brands I like and would recommend. But most people don't associate those brands as chinese because they've proven themselves (Lenovo/Motorola for example)

I have nothing to say about boom racing, I've never used their products. But I have used Integy parts and Vanquish Parts. Integy is inferior to Vanquish Products.

No one is really downing boom racing directly. Integy yes, but not Boom Racing. Why, because we don't have first hand experience with Boom Racing. But is it really that unreasonable to group them in with junk Integy and other chinese brands until Boom Racing has proven themselves?
