Blackfoots CC01 Project with Some simple DIY Mods

That is a Fast Line body don't know what year it came out but from what I was told by another local Guy that has one they are Very Hard to find...

actually its Fast Lane; came out i think in 07 and are indeed hard to find.
i have a new body set aside for a tt-01 build and a second full rig still in the box!
"thumbsup"
theyre a little small (like 1/12) but very nicely detailed.
also, the back can come off to ne a SUT style bed.

More info needed "thumbsup"

I have my H2 setup like this but really haven't look at it for the CC01 yet so if you can save my the sleepless nights that would be great!! LOL.............
I used the existing body mount posts that held this hardbody to its stock chassis, cut off some BIC pen tubes to slide ocer the setup reinforce them, then epoxied them inplace, screwed on some link ends and used TLT Cantilever link mounts screwed to the CC01 fenders.

I did something simular to The MAN build.

is it possible to lock the rear diff using the method to lock the front diff like u did? cause i tried, and it seems that there will be one side bulging out, and i cant screw the cover properly in place

Yes, its possible and very easily done. You must not have the gears perfectly lined up. Its sometimes a little tricky to do and takes a few tries. Once you have it all lined up correctly, it will slide in and bolt together.

Done Finally! Made a bumper for my 3Racing winch as well as set it up with the RC4WD Crawler 3 channel 2.4ghz radio I just did a swap for. I couldn't be happier with it. The bumper stick out so far, because the body is hinged to tilt foward to access the battery connection.

Well, the radio is as basic as it gets, but it works. The winch is either powered off position 1 of the 3rd channel, positionl 2 will make it reel in and position 3 will shut off the steering and you control the winch fucntions with the steering wheel, which kinds blows as you have no steering, but I have the winch more for looks then anything else.

"thumbsup" Great suggestion about the front diff lock. I was wondering as I was building it what to do. It wasnt till I saw your post and thought the spare gears from the rear diff (used diff lock in rear) can be used in front to lock it. I might put all 6 in front for strength (yes over the top but it should work).

Thanks for you ideas Im starting research today on what is needed to fix and lift suspension. Thanks again for your detailed work."thumbsup"
