Beerman's RcBros Berg build (update on page 7)

Re: Beerman's Berg: RcBro/ Secret Agent Chassis

They were easy to polish. The only problem is the first scratch kinda hurts.

I hear you there. The nice thing is the top of the gear boxes and axle tubes stay scratch free for the most part. They only stay really polished for a few weeks then they get a dull look to them.

Re: Beerman's Berg: RcBro/ Secret Agent Chassis

Looking good! Wish I had the patience to polish haha.. Working on your C's. Sorry for the delay!

Re: Beerman's Berg: RcBro/ Secret Agent Chassis

Bring over your gear boxes and tubes and I will polish them up for you.

That requires me to take apart my rig. To much work hahaha "thumbsup" Thanks for the offer though

It's like that. Building any crawler is good because they look good. Then the first drive you trash them.

I polished my c hubs and knuckles so the shine will last. I also polished my upper links since they don't really get scratched up

Is there a trick to make the shine last. Mine gets dull looking after time.

Beerman's Berg: RcBro/ Secret Agent Chassis

I have some gold dot VooDoo's mounted up on some SLW V4. I'm using the 6 inch close cell with the soft outers. Tom comp cut the front on a bench grinder that work really good. I will also be trying the medium outers on the front.

Finished yet?

I’m going to have it finished this coming up week. Just the other day I got all the parts i need so next week is build week. I just order up some of RcBro's gears so I can’t wait to get them. I’m really thinking about getting some of Dlux shafts, the only thing holding me back is buying some wraith knuckles and C's. I’m going to wait until i have the truck built and see how much more turning I can get with my setup.

Re: Beerman's Berg: RcBro/ Secret Agent Chassis

I tell you what guys.. It sure pays to be local to RcBros!

Got this new sweetness today after work. Don't tell Jaybe yet cause he's still at work!

Out with the old

In with the NEW!

These gears are SOOOO nice! Great job Will, you have done us all proud! They are definitely worth the time, effort and money you have into them!

Thank God I have a computer at work. I cant wait to see the gears, they have to be bad ass. Did you pick up the steerting arms from Will? Tom i talk to VP today and they will be getting the knuckles and C's in tomorrow and they should be shiping soon after that. It should be crawling soon

It's update time. I finally made progress getting this built. I have the RcBro tubes on along with his knuckle weights and new gears. I still need to make some upper links and I will make them out of carbon fiber tube. So far I'm happy with the way the look and feel of the truck. Here and some pictures.
