Right, so, do any of you guys glue the bearings in place in aluminum parts ?
I notice that both the pinion and portal hubs have a lot of play in them, length wise.. I have concluded it's due to the bearings not staying put, they can move, and in the case of the pinion, by a lot... A somewhat ok solution has been to shim them all, but I don't know if that's a good permanent fix.
In stead, I think perhaps I should secure the bearings in place. I was thinking of using either superglue or locktite 601 bearing retaining compound.
