Check out Axial's officially licensed Maxxis Trepador tire - replicated in 1:10 scale, ready to mount on your 1.9 wheels. These fully licensed tires are molded in our performance proven R35 compound for the best grip on any off-road surface. The aggressive tread pattern provides excellent traction on mud, rock, sand and everything in between, just like their 1:1 counterpart. These tires also feature a multi-stage staggered shoulder pattern providing improved control, even in the most difficult off-road terrain.

Axial recently embarked on an epic journey across the Rubicon trail. We drove a new SCX10 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon over the entire world famous 1:1 Rubicon trail. These are the exact tires we used on that epic adventure.

• Officially licensed by Maxxis
• 4.6" (117mm) height x 1.25" (32mm) tread width, 1.5" (38mm) overall width
• Fits all 1.9 wheels
• Directional tread pattern
• Molded in our sticky R35 rubber compound
• Foams included
• Two tires per package

Nice work Axial...when I saw these in the pics of the new JK I knew I'd have to have some. I'm not sure what kind of rig that means I'll be building, but I WILL have some "thumbsup"

i'm glad to hear that these are in the pit bull league of performance, and the best thing is that they will be available in the UK whereas the pit bulls aren't, you rock axial.8)

These look awesome! I just ordered up a full set from RPP hobby with the new walker evans wheels, and can't wait to get them!

I got my take offs from RPP yesterday and promptly tossed them in the boiling water.
I mounted mine up to a set of TSS Chameleon wheels stuffed with C.I. foams.
Here are a few comparison pics of other popular 1.9 scale tires and a pic of the 3 offerings for the SCX-10 over the years.

4.75 Claws, R35 Trepadors, R35 Ripsaws

The tire on the left had the C.I. foams and the TSS wheel, the tire on the right is RTR.

These seem to be stickier than the ripsaws also. I know tires get better when washed but these feel crazy sticky.

^^^^^DAMN U!!!! First I wanted them but then I thought they would be to tall so I spent my money on other things now I see these pics and fall I love all over again.....I need more money now....

Clay, why'd you buy take offs? What CI foams did you use in them?

I got mine in the mail the other day as well and I must say, these are nice tires! I cant wait to finish this build and run them:

Best deal for price. Can't buy 5 tires, wheels, and scale hubs for $50 any other way. I use the wheels for mockups on projects from time to time and needed a spare for my current build.

I had a set of 4.50 little nova's here with the new high density inners. They feel awesome and filled the tire up perfectly. Those stock foams are a joke.
