Located just west of Wendover, Nevada.

The comp spot is approx 5 min or so (3miles) out of town. You will have to take a dirt road to the spot but our locals regularly take cars on it so it is not horrible.

Gas station and food is somewhat close by if needed.

If youre flying in, SLC will be the airport.

I am working on hotels now. Hopefully I can do something really good. When I was inquiring awhile ago, it sounded like a couple of casinos might be willing to work with us if we brought enough people in. I will update this post as soon as I know more.

Ok, huge let down on the Casinos/Hotels. I was told by a couple places that they would be willing to work with our group and give us a discount. One of the casinos ended up offering $5 off per night and I need to give them my card in case there are any damages :roll: The other place offered the same great rate that they already offer on their website.

Keep in mind that if you stay on the UT side it is a bit cheaper than the NV side due to higher taxes.

If youre looking for a stay in a casino, the Golden nugget, Montego bay, Peppermill and Rainbow would all be great places.

If youre looking for a non casino stay, I suggest the Days Inn.

I will be booking at the Days inn. $50 and they have some of the cleaner rooms in town, allow pets (I will be bringing my dog), free breakfast, indoor pool.

If youre looking into a different hotel in town, feel free to post up and I can probably help. I have stayed at quite a few or at least have seen them and can give some advice.

For all of those looking for a hotel still,.... I would suggest reserving now. Its a small town and if another event just happens to be in town that weekend things can fill up fast and all the rooms can be gone. Also, for the Days Inn, they give a discount for reserving ahead of time so that is another motive.

Funny thing is I have a huge Beer tolerance. I can drink all day and go to bed a midnight a still get up at 4am and not be hung over.
