Hey guys,

Bryan in West LA, with an Enduro TW, thank you so much for all of the information on this forum, it has been truly a big help, and a great resource.

I'm actually crawling tomorrow TGIF in Malibu at Corral Canyon Road if anyone is keen. I posted in "West" forum, but figured if anyone in SoCal or surrounding areas needs an early fix to the weekend. Come and meet me!

I was there yesterday and can't get enough it is WORTH it. Look forward to learning and posting more. Thanks again for all of the great content, it has been a big help during a crazy time! Bryan

Hey guys,

Name's Bryan in West LA;)

I'll be at Corral Canyon, Malibu tomorrow Friday 5/6 from 1130am for a couple hours; need me CRAWL fix bad, U BET. The weather should be comfortable for a clear day in Malibu. Epic trail and crawling, near the water, come on! DM me and I'll shoot my cell to text or just meet!

Directions:
1. At the corner of Corral Canyon road in Malibu, there is a Union 76 gas station, and turn right.
2. Continue down the winding road for 10 minutes. It is a nice twisty ride , so be patient. The paved road turns into dirt.
3. Dirt is 150 ft until parking.
4. The trail is behind you.
No bathrooms, so tinkle before ;)

I'm rocking my desert BUG OUT rig (modded Enduro)
- Originally began life as a Trailwalker
- Full Samix/Treal/Club 5 bits/Metal spur 87/48/ Incision RTR driveshafts
- Pushed by a Quicrun Fusion/3brothers G14 servo/Flysky GT5
- Old V1 Killerbody Marauder body
- Boom racing pro builds/Chyrax/Injora TPU inner dual stage foam (crazy) FRONT , Proline single cell in the rear.
- Blue springs front/Yellor rear/Club 5 high clearance husky links/Gatekeeper anti-roll bar
- ESS dual sense "vroom vroom" box for shits n giggles
- Helios packs

Very cool looking rig!

More pics please.

You can come and see it run today at 1130am Corral Canyon, Malibu wuhuu. Hehe . Ok will rummage around for more pics. :) Bryan

You could be here today! Happy Friday! Maybe see someone out there or not. Time to crawl! It is worth the drive if you’ve got the itch!

A few more pics. I’m just a dad with a 3yo rediscovering RC after decades (RC10 era guy). My approach for now is to have fun and learn. To do this I’m running the single Enduro chassis.

I started out stock with an inspiration from TRX4guille for this look on the Trailwalker body.

Then I found a used killerbody marauder v1 to learn off of. Definitely a white belt when it comes to all of it but this forum has been so informative .

Here’s a couple more pics of the Marauder , which it currently sits on. I have to see adding heavier springs and the gatekeeper ARB (anti roll bar) has made a significant difference in climbing.

Any feedback or suggestions are always welcome! Again , today Friday 5:6 at 1130ish I’ll be at Corral Canyon in Malibu!

good looking rig there... beautiful playground over that side of town... wish to have the time to get out there and get a stretch.

I'm in West LA, not much local around here that I know of, but Kenneth Hahn Park can scratch the itch.

I've gone to

1. "Flanagan" - Chumash trail in Simi - Awesome

2. Corona Del Mar - Lots of fun in a compact spot

3. Corral Canyon, Malibu - BEST for me right now. I find it a combination of the other 2 places. There are fantastic little features for newbies like myself, PLUS , more advanced steep climbs in a manageable trail, that provides hours of fun in one spot. Since Corral Canyon is next to the water, its cooler as well, and the twisty drive up is fun. Best thing is the trail features start right at the parking lot, so you don't have to hike anywhere, just power up!

I lived in Camarillo before I actually had any crawlers, but always thought the Grotto at Circle X Ranch would be such an awesome spot to hike out to and crawl.
