any crawlers in MN?

We had a verry close call. A tornado just missed us by only a couple miles. Other than that a few drops of rain and some strong winds. As far as the truck goes. Thanks to Adogg for some info I should have it done. Now for my radio being here in time that is a nother story. I'm also trying some thing different with the stock clod tires. It should be interesting. They look promising so far.

Good to hear it missed you.
Bring the truck even if your radio doesn't show, you can use One of my TQ3's and a receiver for the comp if you want to run it.

I drove the FJ40 home from work tonight :-P The manifold gasket finally came in today, so I was able to bolt the intake and header back up. I also finished wiring up my turn signals tonight.

Man, driving a old open top rig with no doors is awsome. Need to fine tune a few things, but I still might drive it out to the comp this weekend if the weather permits. Its not a gentle ride with those plastic bucket seats, but it is fun.

That things not supposed to have a gentle ride. Thats a true utility vehicle, not sport utility vehicle. Tough to get a good riding vehicle with a short WB and stiff suspension. but thats also what makes it so capable off road. My Jeep rides like a tractor on road. The weather looks to be perfect for an open top rig this weekend, bring it. And perfect for our comp.
I'll bet those potholes on the Pothole trail are pretty full this time.
I'll be heading out to Taylors this morning to reserve a campsite for Mnster, Zach, and Cole. I might just have to do some final testing of my trucks ;-)
Also, Nickelpimp and myself are probably going to go to Jerry's R/C Saturday to check out his shop, if anyones interested? we'll probably be there around Noonish for the open workshop.
See everyone on Sunday!!!!

Yup she rides like a tractor, even sounds like one :-P

I might stop out at Jerrys tomarrow and pick up another Lathe motor, not sure yet though.

Yeah, I have a small exaust leak on the straight 6, 4.0, She kinda sounds tractor-ish also.

thanx kevin , you da man , we have 2 of those being made , she said they should be done by Thursday , so we should have them on hand just before the R/C X-Games:flipoff: that way kevin and troy have one for Moab, and we'll have one for thew comps as well

Well I will not be running the new rig because it is not done. I do have a little trick up my sleeve for my 2.2 though. All I can say is

I will be bringing the new rig with though to show every one.

Also any one have one stock clod tire that they dont need. If so could you bring it with? I have one bad one and I'm trying some thing with the stock tires. So I dont want to buy new tires just yet.
