im planing on coming down to taylors to crawl with you guys again i had a great time at the last comp i went to and look forward to crawling with all you again

I dont feel like searching through all 50-something pages, and I did a search on my city and nothing came up.

I got word that someone was from Coon Rapids? If so who? Maybe we could meet up sometime so we could talk about me building a crawler :-P

I would be all up on that idea except for the fact that thats a long drive, and Im normally working. :'(

It should only be 40-50 miles for you, one of out members lives down in Mankato and drives up for almost every comp we have. Thats one heck of a drive! Also you might want to check out Jerrys radio control out in Lino lakes. Jerry and his son are both members and have some crawlers at the shop. His hours are 3-7 and he is closed thursdays and sundays I think? Or was it tuesdays and sundays?

Jerry is closed thursday and sunday also Bronco fetish if you are wanting to build a crawler I would highly recomend comming to a comp and checking out the trucks and talking to the people its a great time with alot of really nice people

So you've got a 'Bronco fetish' huh... I'm a Ford man myself, virtually all my crawlers sport a Ford body (minus the Cadilac, that's probably just temporary). Here's a couple recent pics of my '73 Bronco:

I posted this on the comp section in the MNRCRC comp #7 thread, but just in case anyone missed it. There will be a mini meeting before the start of this next Sept 24th comp, please try to be there by 9:00am so we can start the meeting by 9:15 and get the trucks running on time by 10:00am.

Note to Jerry Sr and Jerry Jr. We know you'll be away the next couple of comps racing, good luck btw. We feel since you've both been a part since early on it wouldn't be fair to not have your imput. One of us will be calling you with info on the issues we will be deciding at the mini meeting to get your imput/votes.
This applies to anyone else thats involved in the club that won't be able to make it to the next comp as well.

Fords suck:flipoff:
Chevrolet is the way!8)

The turtle is Brushless now! Thanks again Troy for picking that up for me while you were out at Moab. I had some issues programing it Tuesday night. But went through and redid the advanced programing again last night after I got home from work. It worked like a charm after that. I fudged up some advanced settings Tuesday night, probably because I should have been sleeping, and not trying to understand those brushless setup instructions....

I also skinnied up the Juggy after picking up a new set of clod rims from Jerrys. Finished glueing the narrowed rims last night, just need to decide if I want to paint them while I am at it.

Also on the Juggy, I charged my reciever pack last night. And the front servo still had no power... At one point it had 175oz. of torque, now it seems like it only has 80oz. So it looks like I will have to buy a new servo within a week here.

I would love to test out this brushless setup at Taylors this weekend, but I will not have any time to go out there. I know some of you have been talking about going up there this weekend, if you are post up and set a time. The weekend is nearly here.

everything sucks.. ford, chevy, gmc, joyota.... only good truck ever made was a Bronco, preferably one that HASNT rused out :-P

Just playin, Im a chevy man myself, but I love broncos. Also, I saw someone refer to Jerry sr. and Jerry jr., were you talking about Jerrie's R/C in Lino Lakes?

Also, Adogg...

I was the one that mentioned Jerry Jr and Sr. I also mentioned their shop, which is Jerrys Radio Control. And yes that is the one in Lino Lakes.

Hey, we should meet up at Jerrie's sometime, thats like 8 miles from my house. You should bring your crawler and let me ask you some q's :)

I know Jerry had a race team type thinger, but no idea he had anything to do with crawling.
