Went out to TF today for a little over 3 hours. Rock was great, a little dusty, but great. The Losi is working great, works even better with 4s lipo:evil:. Able to clear a couple spots my Berg never could. Wheel speed can be cool, but can also be bad.
Got to crawl with Stormin and Tom. Good to see Stormin on the rocks after a short leave of absence. I think we all had fun being outside and shooting the sh*t. Fun times for sure. Can't wait to hit a comp or two this summer.

Our comps are mainly held in Taylors Falls, which is about 45 min north of the twin cities. It's the best local spot we have.

Back from iraq
hey guys, well i am back from Iraq and getting the ol MRC out of moth balls and looking to head up to TF this saturday just to bash a little. is anyone going up there? no comp this weekend is there cause i am not ready for that at all. going to try my new body (still need to paint it) its a 1/16th slash and looks way cool with the tire jammed up in the wheel well. dont go stealing my thunder guys, the slash body idea is MINE
haha it took some trimming and some cleaver zip tie work (i am a zip tie master)
any ways let me know if anyone is going to be up there, i could use some ideas and practice driving.

Yep, test & tune on sunday at Taylors. Nothing fancy, just a chance to get out and have some fun. We'll setup some practice courses for people to run. It's a good time to b.s. with people and to dust off the rigs before our first comp."thumbsup"

Hit up Skyline Drive in Duluth with Chad. Pretty cool spot. Would be a challenging comp spot if they had the parking. Maybe I will be able to stay later in the day to crawl with others a little later in the summer.

The only comps that I am aware of are stickied in the MN section. Location is usually Taylors Falls, though they do go to Duluth twice a summer (that is where the next comp is).
As for people in Faribault, not sure of any. There where a couple people from Rochester. Not sure if they are still active in crawling.

Yeah the place is perfect for RC crawling and the MNRCRC is a awesome group the comps are very competitive you'll have a blast it's worth the drive you won't regret it.

If your talking about June 6th, that comp is being held in Duluth. Here's a link to the thread. Our next comp in Taylors is the following Sunday, June 13th.
