any crawlers in MN?

Fixed13 if you can find out the owner of the old quarry pit at location number 2. It's the one right off of I 94 and the Sauk River. That place has had me wondering about it for quite some time. I know most of these shots are about 2 yrs old at least that's how old the ones of my house up here in Alexandria are. That field before you get back to the old quarry may actually be a gravel pit these days.

Just saw this post, will see what I can find out.

Thought I'd bump this thread up again, since at One time it was One of the biggest threads on RCC "thumbsup"

It's been a very busy Summer for me, I had to prioritize the things I needed to get done over the Summer, and unfortunately, crawling fell on the short list, along with camping, fishing, and golf
There are a number of reasons I was unable to participate in most of the MNRCRC club events this year. I won't go into detail, but be sure it had nothing to do with anyone in the club, or anything to do with the club itself.
I apologize for any extra work put onto others shoulders.

Of course now that the season is over, I am starting to have more free time.
Oh well, the shop is heated to a comfortable 68, and it looks like I'll have plenty of time this weekend to get the shop cleaned up, and work on finishing up some projects that have been on the back burner since Spring.

I should be spending much more time on the forum now, and I intend to be back next season to run a full comp schedule.

Newbie in Wisconsin

I just purchased a truggy froma board member and I should get it next week sometime. I'm in Hudson, WI just across the river from Bayport, MN. I'd be very interested in gettingtogether sometime and meet some local crawlers to see how the hobby is done. I'm new to crawling but excited to dive right in too. Let me know what events are comingup in the metro area. Thanks.

Welcome to the addiction.:ror: The last event of this year is a scaler event called the Howl Krawl. It's on November 1st in Taylors Falls. The truggy should fit right in. Click here for the thread. Hope you can make it."thumbsup"

Newbie crawler in Minnesota

I am new to the crawling scene and I saw this post and wanted to find out where you guys are crawling and if there is a place to crawl indoors? Right now I have a Axial scorpion and a Axial SCX10 and I am doing a scale build with the SCX and a Hilux body. Need to meet some crawlers so I am not doing this by myself.

Taylor's falls

I will do my best to get out there, it is probably the best way to meet other crawlers anyways. One question about the event, as of right now I don't have my scaler setup to be water proof and am wondering if there will be a need to waterproof it for this event? Also do you know of any other forums for Minnesota crawlers?

--John

Welcome John.

You won't need to be water proof for the Howl Krawl. I don't think we'll be getting into too much water, if any. None of my rigs are waterproof either.;-)

This is the only forum that I am aware of that us Minnesotans hang out at.

I sent out pm's with club info to another 35 new Mn RCC members.
Several locals have responded back with interest.
Mike, when is the club website going to be back on-line?

Thanks for the info, now I need practice.

Thanks for the info.
I need to get out and do some crawling anybody want to get together this weekend and crawl? I am located in New Brighton.

greaser, thanks for the invite we'd love to know those sites might be a good spot for a MNRCRC comp in the future. "thumbsup" Are you planning on joining us for a comp or two we'd love to have you attend? The Spring/Summer Summer/Fall schedules will be posted next month after the club meeting.
