I built this a while ago from a Vanquish VS4-10 chassis conversion for the SCX10-II. But, I wanted to mimic the 1:1 Jeep I admire - GRDLOC. So, I put monster axles under it, kept the CoG low, and balanced it as best I could.

The result is a capable climber, balanced enough to sit up on its own instead of toppling back if you misjudge a climb.

Anyway, the goods:

  • VS4-10 Chassis
  • Vanquish Anti-Rock
  • Vanquish 3-gear
  • Castle Mamba X & 3800 kV
  • Savox 2290
  • Pro-Line Big Bores
  • Axial Swamper Boggers
  • Axial OG Jeep body
  • Axial AR90s
  • Axial M6 links
  • Treal brass
  • Custom MIP driveshafts

Another fine build man!

It looks like you really dig the wide axles :lmao:
Me too! "thumbsup"

Thanks, buddy, and yeah, I'm on a 2.2 kick right now. I've built dozens of 1.9s and belly draggers. But, once I rebuilt the Wraith late last year, I decided it was time to build some 1-ton style trucks.

I dig the challenge of getting it all to fit, correcting the geometry, making custom parts and links, and whatnot. It's not "out of the box" stuff. You get it.

I absolutely get it, but I thing you surpassed 1-Ton stuff...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

You are now building Jeeps on deuce and a half axles :flipoff:

Nonetheless, I love the builds, keep'em coming!
