ALRC Comp 2-6-10 at Little Rock City

Got the scaler ready... but she's weak. Only had a 55 to put in it, running on 2 cells. Any pinion recommendations? What's a recommended motor for 2 cells in this thing? (SCX-10) about a 35?

Holy crap... what a great comp, snowing or not I had a flippen blast. Thanks to all who helped out, and to all who encouraged me today. My best score ever!!! If i was in the finals, im gonna be sooo mad!

Guys, I forgot to mention that it is about 32 degrees and snowing............
This and the 15 hour hitch I worked last night made me play hooky.

Can't wait to see the results. All the LRC comps or starting to look like national caliber events.

Question-
I thought we were doing a 20 point bypass today? Because i was on course 1, i had cleared gate 3 cleanly, then was going to 4. Couldnt make it up four, and managed to accumulate 20 points, and whoever was judging me made me pick my truck up and go back to 3, and i accidently sat my truck on the gate while the clock was stopped, and i was trying to get it the way i wanted. I know me hitting the gate was 10 pts, but i shouldnt have even gone back to 3 in the first place should I? I should have put my rear tires at 4, and continued with my run...

Had a great time despite the cold, also big thanks to BTF, Gatekeeper, and Rockcrawler for the help and advice throughout the day.

Wow...what a fun comp. It was freezing up there but I had a great time anyway. Thanks for all who helped put on this event in the cold windy weather."thumbsup" See you guys at the next one.8)
Thanks Austin for the sweet scale bumper and sliders:)

Honestly, there isnt much I can do about it now. :-( I wish you would have come to me when this happened and we could have done something.

All I can say is you TN boys better enjoy it, it will be a long time before this happens again. :flipoff:

I drove like crap all day, but still had a good time. "thumbsup"

Anyone run Sedonas up there today? Curious as to how they work on wet stuff...

Mine seemed to do fine.No complaints at all and that's odd coming from me:) But I will say the Pink Rover EX's hooked way the hell harder on the wet cold rocks than anything I have every watched run.
