Active powersports?

You might want to include a link to what your tlking about. If its an online store I guess you just kind of have to take a chance.

i ordered two axial spur gear covers, which they said were in stock, on april 14th, it is now may 27th, and i have yet to receive them. at the same time i ordered these the website said they had the wraith in stock. so my advice is if youre ordering a time sensitive part, call first. I am more than a little irritated, i ordered from them because the parts were listed as IN STOCK, only to find out they werent, and now, six weeks later, they still arent

Active Powersports is a scam

Active Powersports (aka Escondido Powersports) is a worthless company that charges your credit card and ships damaged or broken items or never ships at all. Their prices are far less than others for a reason.

I've made two different orders for buggy wheels, and three weeks later they've charged my credit card but silently cancelled both orders without notice.

They offer NO customer support and never answer the service line at (760) 746-0600. Email and form messages do not receive any response.

BUYER BEWARE: THEY ARE SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY!!!

I love posts like this.....someone searching the internet for anything that can find about a company, signs up on this website so that they can bash the hell out of a company....

I don't need to drag down this company... search around, they're doing it for themselves.

I'm simply trying to save someone else the grief I've already endured, but suit yourself though.

I ordered 2 sets of overdrive gears from them. Site said they were in stock, but after my card had been charged it said out of stock. After quite awhile I saw it said in stock again, but no parts. I emailed them and asked what was up, and they said they were sending them out. Ordered 06-26-11 and received them 08-09-11.

Slow service, and you have to stay on top of them but they did come through. I don't think RPP or TCS has anything to worry about with them.

My experience....they don't communicate well and they do offer items they don't have in stock. I stayed on them and they did ship a partial order after 2 weeks. They credited my card back the difference after a few heated emails...which seems like the only way to communicate with these people. I personally will never do business with them again.

After five minutes on the phone, I can say that they tried to be helpful but their business model is destined for failure. I stand by my initial claim, and suggest buyers avoid this business.

Apparently they don't stock anything at all, and simply drop-ship if the item is in-stock or silently cancel if it is not. I don't think any company should charge a persons credit card until the item ships, and certainly shouldn't send emails out claiming the item has shipped when the order was cancelled instead. I was also told that most items have available to them are only in quantity 1-2.

I've bought from them and had no problems except with their website. The 3 times I ordered from them it would not let me reuse the email addresses I'd used previously. They were na bit slow but their website just annyed the crap out of me. And besides I'm out of email addresses to use.

!!Buyer Beware!! Of Active Powersports

That’s Active Powersports - RC Car Parts Accessories - Traxxas HPI Ofna Team Associated Kyosho
IP Address 173.192.21.118 **Note there are 22 Domains that share this IP address

My order date was: 16th Feb 2012. I paid the additional $20.00+ to have it shipped to TX in 2 days. My bank account was charged 2 days after I placed the order so I know they got their $$. Today is 27 Feb (two weeks later) and I haven't received anything as of yet. I was skeptical at first about what others said about giving Activepowersports a bad wrap. I was wrong ..
This order is marked as Awaiting Shipment

They don’t have the parts in stock; they order from legit sites at a discounted rate then sent it to you charging a higher shipping rate.

!!Buyers BEWARE!!:flipoff:

Slow turn around of parts ordered, personally not at all happy with them. 5 business days to ship two parts??? I know better.

They drop ship a lot of their stuff so it may say it's in stock when it's really not. Never heard of someone not getting their order but have heard of people placing an order and then getting it a month later when it's back in stock.
