719 Scale RC 4x4 Thread/Trail Runs/Rigs etc..

I use the racers edge 2010. Has the squid which has different connectors so you can charge all kinds of batteries

What charger do you 719 guys use?

Runamuck
I personally use a ridiculous Hyperion charger that can charge two 12s lipos, a cheapo balancer, but I got it cheap while in Japan, and I can hook it up to a car battery for charging in the field. Really like the Hyperion tho, quality stuff

Well, I decided to put the 80mm shocks back on my Gelande II. Trying to figure out how to adjust my pan-hard bar with all the articulation the Proline 90mm were giving was slightly maddening, and I was brutalizing my driveshafts. And besides, the flex from the 80mm is alot more scale (except for them pissing oil)... Now I just need slightly smaller tires ...*facepalm*

I got some small tires...wink wink. Let me know if you need something."thumbsup"

I'm thinking about getting a group together for a trail run on Saturday morning at Palmer Park. Let me know if you're interested. "thumbsup"

Start Time: 11AM
Location: Ute Crest - Templeton/Yucca Trails
38.879896, -104.772373

I've been walking on these trails lately and they look great for scale rigs. I'll be there around 11AM and probably stay until 3ish.

Looks like the little xj is sold on Sunday to finish the big xj for a lot of camping and a moab trip this summer!

Would love to make it but can not do Saturdays. Gotta work most of em.

So I pretty much finished the new C2 rig...this has been an awesome learning experience with brazing, tube/rod work, body modification and styrene fabrication. It was by no means easy and I can see why chassis fabricators charge so much for a "custom" rig. This is a "true" truggy ie: no c-channel chassis from the cab back. I started with a brand spankin new axial scx10 chassis and went nuts lol. I have probably 25-30 hrs wrapped up in this dang thing... I know I wanted something different and I think I hit the nail on the head.

If you have any questions about the build...ask away!

drum rolllllllllllllllllllllll.

And NO, it's not top heavy and climbs like a mountain goat. Get $um !

Thanks man. .I think some chassis/ cage scratch should give it some character lol.

A little bird told me you might have some... Gonna try out my 'Tango Down' wheels, see if the offset / narrow wheel design helps any. I'm almost hoping it won't so I can order my 'Tomahawks' for the Landie, and toss the oversized foams and 'Flashpoint' tires on my 'wagon' wheels for the long wheelbase truck. Those wheels would look right at home on a 79' Ford Pickup. OH, and by the way, the duggy looks AMAZING! Killer job man.
