I think I'm winning the battle with the family. Only thing is ..any idea when registration will open. Cause I'll need to put in vacation time. ASAP.

I can tell you it won't be in January... and last year was March 1st...

It's not going to be a "surprise", once I get all the logistics wrapped up and am sure that I can handle the flood gates of emails without work getting in the way...I will let everyone know the exact date and time.

Hopefully some of us other west Michigan guy can make it out

That would be sweet...

Can you put in for the time now since you have the dates? Are you worried you won't get tickets or won't get a cabin?

It'll be good to see ya! "thumbsup"

Little bit of both. I can get the dates off. Just little concerned bout scoring a cabin.

Cabins are going to go fast...I can tell you that. But everyone will have a fair chance at them...but don't make that be the deciding factor. There are Yurts available, bring a tent or hotels. The campground really will do anything they can to help.

I know they are looking into rental campers... they can get you in contact with a company...

Don't wanna stay in a tent tinner?

No worries though fun is what its about anyways...you folks had too much fun last year I missed out!

Too much fun is an understatement... It was the most fun I have had in a long time and I didn't even run a rig.

here is my class1 and class2. Don't mind the little boys. they are just fans.

not sure if they are someone's boys from here, but they had a good time with the mutts that day.

I stayed in a cabin last year, due to me needing electricity for my asthma breathing machine, and they're great. Beds aren't very comfortable though. But they accommodated my old lady, stepson and myself nicely. The idea of rental campers would be great in case I can't get a cabin because of needing electric. Also, the owners of Rose Point are EXTREMELY nice people and they even remembered my family and I from last year. So if you guys make it, please be sure to thank them. They did a heck of a job accommodating us. And, IS IT AUGUST YET?!?!?!?!?!

I am going to try and make it. Sounds like a great time. Just hoping I can score a cabin or yurt for the weekend. Getting a bit tired of tent camping. And if I set up a tent it is a guarantee that it WILL not only rain, but be a complete washout. It happens almost everytime my tent goes up.
