2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

Finally made some progress, got my bumper mounted and the wheels mounted. Need to install my esc. Also finally rc4wd got their 3link front setup back instock, so I snagged one up.

So on the Show N Shine, does it have to be a rig thats competeing to be in the show? I'm running class1, but I wanted (was hoping) to enter this in the SnS too.

I brought that up last year because last year any rig could be in sns.
John said it was going to be different this year but didn't say how... I think there could be a Shelf Queen category.
(No offense intended HD ;-) )

Ya got me. Here's my c1.

Awesome it's like the European version of the A-Team's van "thumbsup"

Wasn't the SNS moved to Thursday so people would be able to display there trucks before they got beat up in competition? I agree that the trucks in competition should have the spot light but many people (including me) bring extra trucks to show them off. Maybe you could have a separate table with all the non comp trucks and have just a single "best of show" award. That way it doesn't put much extra burden on the guys running the show. they have enough to do already.

Similarly, I'm bring the FJ60, and certainly not competing with it, and for that reason, I don't expect an award. I just want people to ogle it. 8)

Well...I'll start today with an announcement...

Looks like we have one of several "special" guests coming...

For all you East Coasters...I'm pulling a guy from what he says is the "Best Coast"...

I want everyone to give Dean a warm welcome. Yeap...the legendary "Chino63" will be making the trek from Cali to run with us.

Just wait until you see his Unimog...

Welcome to ECSC14.
