If you guessed a TURTLE...they you were right. LOL

I would like to formally announce that Ty "TURTLE" Giebel will be flying over to run rigs with us. Yeap...the Rally Guy himself will be crawling instead of drifting....
Ty will also be the official photographer for the event...as most of you have seen the quality of his work...his talent will really reflect the realism of the terrain.

Welcome to the event Ty...make sure you bring your Chew can holder...

Have you ever seen a Harley in person???

Well if you are heading to ECSC14 this year, you will be able to meet the infamous, Josh "Harley".

Josh has agreed to take on the challenge of the East Coast Terrain to see what all the hype is about.

He is also going to be the Official Videographer of the event..

Oh and he will run his rigs also.

More details to come as we get closer.

I want to welcome Harley to ECSC14...

Awesome ! Welcome Harley. Official Videographer. Please let there be a 2014 ECSC DVD. I'll preorder 2 now. Just so i have a backup. I'll wear the first one out for sure.

The Fun Run format has been finalized....

Introducing the

ECSC14

"KING OF THE ROSE"!!!!!!

You heard it right...Estimating over a mile of East Coast Terrain, Water, Hills, moss, rock and asphalt, while trying to stay focused on the details and doing it as fast as you can...

If you are up for the challenge...get registered for a whirlwind of adventure, challenge and endurance.

There will be two classes (1.9 and 2.2)...that's all the rig rules there are besides they have to be scalers...no REVO with 2.2 or 1.9 wheels. This is a chance to just go out and have a great time running rigs.

Registration for this event will open tomorrow 7/25/14 at 11:00 am EST. There are only a limited amount of openings so don't hesitate...

For those of you that have already signed up for the "Fun Run" you are locked in. I will just need to know if you will be running 1.9 or 2.2.

PLEASE NOTE that we will not be opening any Class 1, 2 or 3 positions. They are sold out.

Dumb question, is the fun run prior to C1 and C2? Trying to figure out which I will run (id hate to break it on the fun run before my comp run)

Schedule will be coming out shortly...but the "King of the Rose" will be run after Class 2 on Saturday... "thumbsup"

If anyone has a class 2 or 3 ticket and they can't make it please let me know. Bummer that no one else can get in.

Sorry Tom...we really extended the registrations more than we originally planned... I want to offer all the registrants a quality event. Adding more people will only put a strain on our ability to do that.

As stated before, there is not transfers allowed. I have too much to do to try and track who traded with who.

Thanks guys, 1.9 it is then!

Edit: love the idea for the fun run!

gotta ask:

KING OF THE ROSE

will this be fastest time wins. period.?

so since this is for two wheel sizes will there be different gates? will everyone be going at once G6 style? there are lots of scenarios here.

i suppose the rules will be decided ahead of time. but i was just sitting at work, "working" thinking about this.

either way it sounds awesome.

I'll add do we have to run a rig we are using in one of the classes or can this be another one strictly for this event also will scale points apply?

It will be a combination of several things...Time will be an important part but not the deciding factor. "thumbsup"

Same gates...two starts....

1.9 will go first and then the 2.2 will be on their tails after about 15 mins.

either way it sounds awesome.

Yes it will...
