2013-14 SCRCC Series Comp 7 - March 22, 2014 @ Falls Park

Only a little more than a week to go...hoping for some more of this great weather on comp day!

Found out for sure today that my band's gig has been cancelled so I'm in for pro and shafty, wooooooo. My scaler is not legal yet but I will bring what I got. Maybe I can run it for practice? Looking forward to it.

Sounds good Ray...glad you can make it!

Should we run groups again this time? Should we decide on a time that the courses close? If we don't do something I foresee us running late into the afternoon. Ideas?

Well if u run groups the scaler guys be waiting on derrick to get done free crawl format and have a cut off time if u don't get done get a 50 for the course or courses u don't finish

Glad to read u can make it ray

How many we got signed up for 2.2p? 8-9

Yep there are currently 8 drivers in pro class.

Here's what I'm thinking...if everyone will plan to show up close to 8:30 and immediately start setting up the courses for 2.2p we should be able to get 4 courses laid down pretty quickly. With 8 drivers we would need approximately 1 hour for everyone to finish the courses if someone was running on each course at all times. With 8 drivers that means 2 people on course...one driving and one judging...then switching. Obviously that's not much fun and feels too much like rushing. SO...how about this...let's blow that up and take 3 times as long to do it.

In other words...courses open at 9 and close at 12. Like Marcus said...if you don't get them all completed within 3 hours then you will have a 50 on each course not finished. Then we can move on to the 3 drivers running shafty trucks...and hopefully run them through the same courses. So by 2pm we should be able to run a finals course with all 8 drivers in 2.2p if we want...or we can be done with comp crawlers at that point...but I'm pretty sure there will be enough votes in favor of running a finals course. Finals should be able to be built, and ran in close to an hour. That'd be great and allow those with scalers to spend more time running them if they want...or those of us with just comp rigs can spend some time just messing around on the rocks too.

Simplified version:

2.2p course building @ 8:30...EVERYONE INVOLVED
2.2p courses open @ 9:00
2.2p courses CLOSE @ 12:00
2.2s courses open @ 12:00...3 drivers run together through the courses

2.2p FINALS course building @ 2:00
2.2p FINALS finished @ 3:00

Everyone running that's also running the TRAIL CLASS will need to fit that in throughout the day as they can. There "should" be approximately 2 hours of free time during the 2.2p class courses being open for ya'll to run the TRAIL CLASS. "thumbsup"

Sound good?

I know it's easy to overlook me cause I'm short, but I make up for that by being so damn good looking..... I make nine in pro and four in shafty if everyone listed is still coming. Just saying.

Put me in for 2.2 pro. I'm gonna make sure my XR still works in a few :lmao: and I may jump on course waiting for Class 3 to start.

Btw the rig in the first 2 pics will be available to buy as a roller tomorrow..... Just saying. "thumbsup"

Check out the new tire washer. Getting ready for tomorrow :D
