2011 axial west coast championships

this really is discouraging news....

i will still be attending but i guess now i will have to build a scaler to make it worth the expense.

Dont ya think that might have been part of the plan!!!

Does anyone remember how many Supers and 1.9 entries there were at AWCC last year? I looked for the results, but didn't see them.

They didnt run them last year. they have been ran at wcc in the past though. I made it a point with Parker that they should be ran at this years so that it wouldnt be the only comp. event in either series to not run one of the other 2 classes. That was why they where added to the original event ittinerary. To give the true overall USRCCA Comp. experience. then add to that some fun scale running. Instead its looking more like USRCCA is being used to get people there for the invite chance in 2.2 and then making it into a scale event!

Wow, no 1.9 and Supers? Really? You guys have had an awful hard time getting this comp figured out, now you drop this bomb? I already bought my plane ticket and now I'm regretting it. I felt like I got shafted at the last event from "winning" the overall but now I can't even compete for it at this event! This is a huge letdown Axial, you need to make it right...again .

Furthermore, if you really want to have a G6 comp in order to push your product (and I think that would be a great idea), I encourage you to do so. But piggybacking, and pushing the smaller classes by the wayside because it is easier, or convenient is wrong. Remember, we're the people who helped you get to where you are in the crawling market in the first place. I really like your company because you do things differently than every other RC manufacturer out there. You're selling more and more vehicles and accessories every day because of the character of the company. But this latest move feels like something cheap that Losi or Associated would do. If you were like Traxxas, you'd do your own event, and you'd do it big.

Please fix the event, Add back in the 1.9 and Super classes please "thumbsup".

Bender at one point said we could run Non-dig MOA's in the sport class this year... Is that still accurate? The thread was moved, and I can't find where he said it now? Is there a rules thread yet?

:)

I was so excited to run the 1.9 and super class after seeing it at nationals last year. I was so hoping this would happen and bring the Cali boys back to the 1.9 and super class.

Can this event be pulled from usrcca and a true westcoast championship event be made and axial can do there own thing. What a joke. Ian sure we can put a event together that would represent the westcoast better than axial. There are some big sponsor I hear that would step up to make it happen.

You are correct! Non dig MOA is fine in the "sport" class! "thumbsup"

+1, I say we talk to those we need to, and get those we need to and make this happen.

The fact you guys have changed the setup twice now has really screwed so many people. I know people who purchased other rigs to run multiple classes, only to be let down in the long run. Sure its fun to still run 1.9 and supers at the qualifier, but why run them if your not qualifying for its intended purpose.

Go back and look at other national events and the top 10 drivers. Now go back and read this thread to see who is posting about this event. There the same people!!

RockCandy RCC will be at the RECON series Championships/ AWCC Qualifier Sat with tickets in hand for the Victory Junction Raffle. get a chance at winning a Axial XR-10 or a WRAITH!!!!!!!

not me... gives me a chance "thumbsup"

Funny enough....

And this is not to offend you.

But what about all the guys and gals that have paid the extra night at the motel, took the extra day off work, and funded the extra day to comp at a qualifying event, and earned themselves a spot.

Now it is all gone?

Not to mention the people that have planned ahead and made non refundable travel arrangements....it all adds up to a pretty big disappointment and waste of time and money.

believe me, I feel bad for everyone that basically got screwed. I would be pissed if I didn't live 90mins. away from the comp spot. Don't worry about offending me. But Its the truth about me having a chance.
