2010 HPI Racing/HB RCCrawler Nationals!

Has the format been established yet? i.e. how many 2.2 courses, how many gates, time limit, etc?

Is that information announced ahead of time or when the comp starts?

Thanks"thumbsup"

If I am remembering correctly what happened at past events 10x gates 5 minute time limit.

Availability of Judges and Number of drivers may also have something to do with it.

These kind of questions always perplex me, I just don't get why guys are always so concerned about that, 1 you can't do anything to change it, 2 everyone is going to be running the same courses so really no one is at a disadvantage.

With that said, we'll be running somewhere between 4 and 14 courses, and they will have between 5 and 15 progress gates. Time limits will be 4-5 minutes.

Honestly until we get there and start throwing down cones we can't know for sure.

thanks, do I just drive around and look for people or is there an actual location and parking?

Disney is VERY small.

We plan on using 3 different comp locations while we are there, hopefully each day we will be in a different spot.

Hogans campground will be a good meeting place each morning, none of the spots are more than a mile from the campground.

As soon as we know more, you'll know more.

Wow... I haven't perplexed anyone in a while .

I asked because we get used to a certain gate count and time limit at our club comps. When we go to bigger comps (like ECC for me) a change in gate count or time limit makes a difference. If you know... you can prepare "thumbsup" (or try)

Since ECC has been the extent of my big comp experience, and Fish posts the format a few weeks ahead of time, I thought it would be OK to ask.

I understand your answer though.. (maybe not your tone ;-) ) But I get it.

I'm just happy to be invited.

I could care less what we run...Only question I have is:

Will the supers and 1.9's be ran together like you guys do in CO.?
The way we are running 1.9 and super is there will be 4 courses, Both 1.9 and super will start at the same place. They will both will run at the same time, meaning we only need 8 judges. So you can set your 1.9 and super down at the same course, run your 1.9 and then run super. 1.9 will go one way, super will go the other.

Pretty much the same format Parker used at Worlds. We have been using this in CO and it works very well!

Just a couple of questions. So never having been to Disney, Oklahoma I was just wondering if there is a choice of like 2 or 3 motels in the local area or is there plenty to choose from(10-20 or what ever)? and how close are we talking to the comp areas? Is there going to be concern with how many people in the area trying to find a room without getting reservations? And next is there any good free places to camp close to the area besides just the Hogans Off-Road Park. The Wife and I love to camp and plan on camping most of the 8 days we are gone from home. Just somewhere quick and off the beatin path. Coming from Utah and can't wait to meet all you other CRAWLERS for a 1st,2nd and maybe more times again. Any info will certainly help. Thanks and see you all down there:mrgreen:

Will the comp spot be near the parking lot? The reason I ask is I'd like to know if it would be worth our while to bring a table to work on trucks.

Thanks.

We will more than likely be using 3 different comp spots. One of them all cars car get withing 100 yards of the comp spot.

One of them most cars car get within a couple hundred yards, truck with some clearance can get 50yards.

The third spot I am not sure, I haven't seen it.

Can I ask what areas you are planning on.:)

I am sure you'd love to know that, Mr. I can drive an hour and go practice.

Basically we are going to use the one spot west of Hogans one day, the spot by Viagra another day, and then the spot by the other dam on another day.

I haven't been to the third spot, but I have heard it is good.
