2010 HPI Racing/HB RCCrawler Nationals!

I might have missed it elsewhere, but when do we need to submit the names of our top drivers? And how many from each class?

Thanks!

Johnson420 gave you the correct link.

We won't need them submitted to us until July 1st.

We have asked in the past that clubs finish up their series up in the beginning of June and by the end of June do their state run off's (if needed) so they can give us names by July 1st.

Crawl Offs .....oh my:shock:

Please don't allow people to just buy tickets for 1.9 and super as in previous years. Lcq is the only right way to allow drivers to comp that didn't earn a state invite.

That is a good idea, but, i dont believe the super turn out would make that possible. 1.9 on the other hand may be possible.

Several things wrong with that idea....

1) It will create MORE work for the USRCCA Staff by having set up 2 more events.

2) It will reduce the size of both 1.9 and Super fields significantly. Glancing at past years events in Super you would have about 12 qualified entries, and 12 drivers going to a Super LCQ. That dosn't make any sense.

2.2 Nationals use to be open to almost everyone, and only be came restricted when more drivers wanted to attend than time would allow. That why we have qualifying in 2.2. Time is the #1 reason we have pre-qualifying, and am I sure if it was possible Jason and Badger would invite everyone that wanted come. Getting more people involved is one of the biggest reasons for having the 2.2 LCQ."thumbsup"

Qualifying for the sake of qualifying a class that won't sell out seems kind of silly, and it won't bring more people to the event. Beside why dose it matter? If a driver worked all season to "EARN" a state invite then he should have too much to worry about with the guys that show up at Nationals with a brand new rig;-)
