here's my just finished hilux kit.....

Well, if someone is gonna enter my truck in the build of the month on tamiya3-speed.com , before it was even near completion, then I best put on some new pics of it to show it a bit more justice than I originally posted of it pre- done up...... if anyones on the forum over there and you appreciate the truck - hows about a vote for the crwaling team, heh heh
first off , the list.....
- stock hilux toyo' kit
- hot racing alum: knuckles (front only), leaf spring mounts, upper shock mounts (in the 'higher position'), servo mounts
- MFC2
- Attack 4wd radio
- integy 35 t motor
- Pro custom paint and pro clear coat (you gonna do this much, might as well make it like a 1:1 with the real deal for paint)
- RC4WD alum rims (i ran out of locking hub stickers for the front, used the next best thing - Tamiya 'hub' stickers, heh heh - check the pics....
- RC4WD rock crusher tires
- delrin rear straight axle
- RC4WD straight axle kit
- RC4WD spool locker (for the rear, front id glued and trued with JB weld, locked for life - no pin lock on this baby
- much more i can't think of + much more yet to come for this running show truck, no shelf queen here for me, it's on the trails/rocks next weekend for some good old 'tamiya' testing - follow up pics to come........

Started out as 2.2, now a 1.9 for good

I started this build many, MANY moons ago. I just recently finished it. Crawled it as a 2.2 with some 1.9'rs. After seeing how killer the 1.9's look, I went out and got some. Started rebuilding as well.

Here is what the rig was. Before 1st crawl with 2.2's

After 1st crawl, 2.2's

And now, with the 1.9's, roll cage and reworked front/rear suspension.
